BIKEPACKING SLOWENIEN | Vrsic Pass - Soca - Mangart | Atemberaubende Ausblicke | Teil 5

Endlich ist es so weit! Der 5. Teil und das absolute Highlight unserer Bikepacking Tour durch Slowenien ist online.
Diesmal führt uns unsere Reise von Bohinj, durch den Triglav Nationalpark, über Kranjska Kora bis zu den Julischen Alpen. Dort fahren wir dann über die vielleicht schönsten Schotterwege Mitteleuropas rauf zum Vrsic Pass (Werschitz Pass). Danach führt uns unsere Abfahrt entlang der Soca bis nach Bovec.
Am letzten Tag geht’s dann vorbei am Predil-Pass rauf zum Mangart Pass auf 2055 Höhenmeter. Die Ausblicke sind atemberaubend!
Mit dabei sind natürlich wieder unsere geliebten Fahrräder (Canyon Grizl und Kross Esker).

Just a note: the beautiful forest in Radovna Valley was not destroyed by people but by a terrible windthrow (Sturmholz?) in July. The road that you took has been impassable and closed for quite some time afterwards. The last time I was there was at the end of 2022, and this year I just didn't want to go again, for the fear of what I'll see. We've had a year of natural catastrophies here in Slovenia.

I thought so. On our trip we saw a few places with severe devastation. We were in Radovna Valley a year before the storm. The sight this year was truly shocking
