Bike World Dream Rides | Kawasaki H2 Road Ride

Another Dream ride with The Bike Specialist, this time it's the crazy supercharged Kawasaki H2. Chris struggled to keep the front wheel down and most of onboard footage was unusable due to the giggling.

If this guy found it scary then it must be terrifying, good job rider and bike!
Chris the legend actually shows you what bikes are capable of. Doesn’t potter around for 30 minutes at 45mph telling you how they once hit a slight bend at 50 and it handles well like other KZreadrs

Kawasaki H2, my wet dream. Hopefully, when I win the lottery I'll get one H2 and one Z900RS SE. Just Kawasaki, nothing else! Cheers from Athens, Greece!
Chris, you have the BEST way to review a motorcycle... I own two bikes and watch videos about them all the time and you have the best style for describing and showing the bikes.
Love these short reviews perfect and a genuine dream ride.
It's one thing to open it up hard on straight roads, it's quite another on a roller coaster back road !! Go Chris...I'll just watch you try and tame it 👍🙂
Absolute beast of a bike dream machine ❤
Brilliant as always. Best bike channel on YT.
Have my ZX14 and she is an amazing beast. The H2 would be another level beyond. Kawasaki monster muscle flex.
See the thing is as far as bike reviewers goes, Chris here is the most lovable and probably the rowdiest hooligan that’ll ever swing a leg over these two wheeled supercharged hell bikes we call the H f’n 2s baby!😂👏 What are you waiting for… go buy one!
I have it's quiet sibling, the Z H2 SE. I love it. The mid-range power leaves my '12 ZX14R behind.
Love the final comments, "You guys are idiots. I love it!" It's crazy how close folks are to riding WSB bikes on the road now (not including actual road races.)
I had one now for 8 years and people still go crazy when they see one, if some say it's ugly then they also think a Lamborghini Countach is ugly, they look extreme!
Love it. Thanks Chris.

Great real world review! I wouldn’t know what to do with that power but sure wouldn’t mind a little seat time on one.
Really good description- it was kind of like that back in the 70's when we had the H1 and then the H2. Nothing even remotely close to today's beasts, but we had nothing to compare that level of insanity to. Listening to your review makes me think that it would be mostly a garage queen because it's just pulling too hard, too often on the chain. Gorgeous insanity though...
Chris Awesome 😂 love your posts
Mostly I never care much for carbon fibre except for weight savings, but on this particular bike it just makes sense visually as well. Because there's so much of it the overall look is so subtle and it just suits the bike.
Sounds like it needs a good tune to unleash its full potential and better road manners......good review by the way!!
How would you compare it to the h2sx? Love this content!
Brilliant once again 🎉 Please make a video with the Fireblade 17 🥲
I don't find it too heavy, but I did progress to it from a ZZR1400. Unfortunately the supercharger blew up so it's off the road at the mo, just waiting for a new one.

I admire Kawasaki for making this bike but I would never buy one. I used to ride a ZRX1100 with 100hp and 100Nm of torque and it was so much more usable. It was also 10kg heavier than H2 but didn't feel heavy. I could roll on from 2000rpm/30km/h in the 5th gear, albeit slowly until it gets to 2500. From there on it was just smooth power all the way up to the red line that I never ever reached. Actually, I never even revved her up above 8000rpm because at 8000rpm in the second gear she would hit 120km/h and that's the speed limit for comfortable riding on a naked bike. The riding position was upright and comfortable so my neck wouldn't start to hurt after 10 mins. In the city it was an absolute blast, very easy to ride. It was not so good on the highways as it had no protection, but who wants to ride the highways anyway. My point is, you don't need 200hp to have fun. I never even used the 100hp at my disposal. In the city, I would usually upshift at 3000rpm - that's how torquey that engine was. This is not to say that H2 isn't awesome - it is - but I see it as a work of art rather than a motorcycle.
Isn't the weight of this bike similar to the original Z1?

The H2 is just an exhaust and retune away from 250bhp at the wheel (Lambchop has one). If you can use that on the road then you're a better rider than me but personally I don't see the point of getting a H2R converted to be road legal.

@willspeakman2461

It will have a lot more torque and a lot more potential. They are good for 250hp with some people pushing 300hp. In reality the ducati will be faster on a normal road. That being said just get a daytona 675 and that will just as fast as the ducati on a country road.

I can't wrap my head around the H2. Being marginally faster than a zx14r. Especially with the H2 now starting at $38,000 in canada. I picked up my ZX14r new for $14,000. ECU flash and pipe and it puts down 194 wheel horsepower and 118 torques.

I know what you mean, ZZR is ridiculous value for money when you look at it. But as fast as a ZZR is, it doesn't have that same ridiculous feel as the H2 when you roll on the throttle, the H2 is way more angry. That said, if I had to ride one every day or for any distance, the ZZR would be my first choice for sure.
I'd buy one and leave it in my garage, as I would be too scared to even start it.
Firstly, let me say I'm loving these videos Chris. Unfortunately, the guy you're sitting with is pulling stats out of thin air. 228bhp? Nope. 211mph. Nope. Where is he getting these numbers from?! Maybe marketing blurb. They're never real world numbers though.
