Its the same speed as a zx10r they both can reach over 200mph with a decent setup. I own a 23 zx10r and i hit 190 with a tune exhaust and air filter. With a few more upgrades and weight savings any 1000cc bike can hit over 200mph

I have seen A few videos on this channel they are absolutely incredible but just to clarify A couple things 1 The Ack Attack's fastest one-way speed was officially recorded at 634.217 km/h (394.084 mph). This was the third time in four years the Ack Attack had broken the Record The Suzuki Hayabusa was the first production bike to go 200mph It thinks to this a gentleman’s agreement all superbikes are restricted to 186 or 300kph from the factory And no bike in history has reached 400 mph

300kmph restriction is only on the instrument cluster display, actual gps speed shows many bikes that are capped at 300kph go beyond that

For the first 40 seconds the comparison jumped too fast. And for some of the superbikes the data are bit bias, like some you got the speed of stock bike with speed limiter, and some with custom tuned bike, thanks for the video 👍 Man, my english sucks

I agree with what you said. This video implies that there weren't any faster bikes before 1939 which is not true. The TT bikes were averaging like 90mph and even in the 20s the Brough Superior bikes were each certified to have reached 100mph. Also your English is absolutely fine. I've met many many people in England who have worse English than you do. Literally your only mistake was using "bias" instead of "biased" as the other commentor noted.

That aside these numbers are all over the place. I own a 23 kawasaki ninja zx10r and iv seen the same bike hit over 200mph gps. 1000cc bikes with correct setups all can hit 200mph+

I have confirmed that Suzuki GSX-R1000R can actually reach nearly 330km/h on the autobahn, but it requires an ECU flash and intake/exhaust modifications. I believe the early Hayabusa models could do about 350km/h. SUZUKI still crazy. Nice 3D models by the way.

I had the first Hayabusa back in 1999 and did 328 kmh, it was stock with an akrapovic exhaust. Plenty fast enough for me.

Crazy to think that L7 can achieve such straight line speed is that possible on stock gearing ? I tested an R1m of a friend of mine who had velocity stacks , akra. Slip on exhaust but without tune and performance filter and squeezed out about 310-313 kmh

​@@MelodicTurtleMetalIf the gears are set loosely the breath will be longer and the wings are removed which will reduce drag resistence. So there is no doubt that reaching 400 km/h, only requires an infinitely long straight. Something similar was tested on F1 cars at Mojave 2006

Started with Daimler, ended with Dodge. Very interesting!

The ktm superduke and ducati streetfighter are definitely slower than the r1. They generally cannot reach anywhere near 300kmh, theoretically they can but on an actual road with actual air resistance no way

I have a 2023 sfv4. The general consensus is that, stock, it'll do 180 but not 190. It's about to start snowing where I am, so the test will have to wait until next year. I've had it up to 170 indicated and didn't shift near redline on the way up.

Current R1 is wild. Got 331kmh on mostly stock, and didn't even need to get the 300kmh limiter removed. Might be the fastest street legal bike without modifications.

My mates r1 hit 331kmh on nearly full stock. Seems the limiter doesn't actually do anything other than stop reading after 300. Couple bikes here with some very odd numbers, most of them clearly modified. Would love to see where the numbers came from

Incredible! One of the best videos I have watched in a long, long time. Superbly animated (looks like physics has been applied really well). Crazy insane! I forced 197mph out of my Honda X4 1300 - downhill - with the wind in my favour on the Autobahn, it was freakin’ terrifying! One false move at those speeds and you’re permanently doomed! My head was rattling like the snakes tail in a typhoon.

Yeah pretty unrealistic, or the aprilia rsv4 with 321 kmh... i had one and it struggeled to reach 300, while my 2016 S1k reaches 320 without any struggle

Your forgot two bikes one in the beginning the Vincent Black Shadow that held the production speed record for quite sometime and the Bimota H2 towards the end but it was still a great video.

The Stock CBR 1000rr-r is 214hp while the stock Hayabusa is 190 cause this was a 2021. Plus the Hayabusa is 582lbs compared to the Hondas 445lbs. I think you are thinking of the Honda CBR 1000rr which is only 186hp and definitely slower than the Hayabusa.

Others: who recorded that? Supra and bugatti: us with mixed speed

Great video however it feels unbalanced and biased towards newer bikes. How could the Vincent Black Shadow and the Honda CB750 be left off? Those were groundbreaking bikes. Would have also been good to see the first-gen Ninja and Fireblade in there.

The lesson here is that motorcycles are a different breed of speed. Even the most unassuming bikes are stupid quick. I had two, a Yamaha MT-07 and a 2016 Kawasaki ZX6R. Far from the fastest bikes but still incredibly quick for really NOT that much money.

Had a 2004 Zx6r as my track bike. Grabbed it dor $2500 aud. Absolute beast, kept up with just about everything until the long straights, but even then still great to about 240kmh, then a slog to 270. I miss that bike..

Technically the Dodge Tomahawk leaves all these behind. The best bikes are clearly the BMW and the Kawasaki Ninja.
