Hi Elaine, Yes we are close. We, like you, can't wait to get back there but it makes sense for us to have both jabs before we return. It may be a requirement anyway so we will see. Valencia as you probably know have closed their borders for now and their vaccine programme is not going as well as ours. Cheers Barry, Yes we are safe and staying in as per restrictions. I sold the Mavic Air last week. I think the Mini 2 looks just as good. I flew it from my back garden yesterday to capture the snow.

Well Done Mike and Yvonne on another great tour around the North part of Torrevieja.Very good aerial shots as always. I must get one of those as the shots it gives are truly great. I have rebooked yet again for my return to Alicante, now for April. Hopefully it won’t be cancelled or postponed. But the way we are going who knows???? Great to see you pop up on screen today. Thanks David, definitely staying cool up here in West Yorkshire. I hope all goes well for you going back in April. You would think we should be getting back to normal travel by then as most of the UK's vulnerable will have been vaccinated by then. Let's keep our fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong. I have just swapped my drone for a smaller sub-250grams model that is a little more flexible in terms of where it can be flown as the drone laws have changed in the UK and Europe. The new one produces great pictures just as good as the one you see on this video. If you are thinking of getting one the DJI Mini 2 is the one to go for....

But it does seems that every time we seem to be going in the right direction, something else happens. In Spain they have many communities going back into a tighter lockdown situation. Hopefully it will settle down, but travel regulations I think will stay for sometime to come. Stay safe David

Thanks Lee for your comment and for watching. We love Ciudad Quesada and always visit there on the bikes, we like to go up to Harry's Bar, have a pint and see the great views up there. On a clear day you can see for miles. We also like The Old Don Carlos, its a great hub of entertainment around that area and up to the town square where they have concerts in summer. Lets hope we get back to those days later on this year when everyone is vaccinated and we get back to normal.

Yes I've been up to Harry's bar. The estate agent took us up there. Stunning views. My kids like the Quesada mini golf bar. Spent a bomb in there... If you visit ciudad quesada soon please video it. Love to see the place. Hope to get back there soon. Lee

Cheers guys, yes we are both well and keep topping up with the anti-freeze, always have it handy. Still got snow on the ground but the temperature is going up to the dizzy heights of 7 degrees today so it may disappear. Thanks for watching....

Love it as usual and thanks for the sneaky peak . We, like many others on here would like to get a place too ! You are lucky yo have yours . I keep. Looking at videos of torrevieja town ? By playa del cura thinking it's where I want to be ? But I don't know the area at all as we have never been . 🤔 I'm put off by "urbanisations" but don't know why really as it looks empty ? Can you advise ? Do you prefer urbanisations or town/city vibe ? We wouldn't want to drive so bus routes would be a must for us . Any suggestions ? From one northerner to another . Stay safe , keep them coming and roll on the jab ! 😘❤️

Hi Jacqueline, Everyone is different and I think the only way to decide is to come over and spend time in all the different places, We like it where we are because it's pretty central to all the urbanisations north-west of Torrevieja centre but near enough to get a bus or in our case a bike ride to the seafront in about 12 mins. We like the town and all that offers but we always end up in a bar near our home base. We like the community feel you get in urbanisations, sometimes it feels like you are in the UK but with great weather. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, some like to have the Spanish experience and I must say we like both and here in Torrevieja you can have both. Thanks for watching and your nice comment. We are hoping to get back as soon as we have had both vaccinations, so it depends on how quickly they come off, fingers crossed. As for tips, We would just say take your time and have a really good look round to make sure it's what and more importantly where you want. We feel location is most important to us so we can walk / bike ride to great locations and be near shops and facilities as we get older. I'd also recommend a good estate agent to look after you, get you all you need to complete the purchase, advise and recommend. We bought from Casa Espania at La Siesta and certainly looked after us.

Hi Georgina, the maximum distance we can go on the bikes is about 15 kms so we could go as far south as about Cabo Riog. Where did you have in mind?

Hi Mairead, thanks for watching. Yes, we bought our property from Casas Espania in La Siesta which is in the heart of the ElChaparal, San Luis, Limonar, Altos del Limonar, Torretas area. They looked after us, arranged a good solicitor, helped re-build our kitchen and gave us good advice. see them here: casasespania.com/
