Why over restore something thats gonna get used alot. Bearings, brakes and tyres are most important.

Itu sepeda mini sebutan anak anak ditempat saya era 70 sampai 80 an, bukan onthel, ada keranjang buat tempat barang di depan, dibawahnya ada 2 buah lampu, listrik nya di hasilkan oleh dinamo yang menempel di garpu depan, di stang pun ada belnya, diujung stang ada rumbai rumbai semacam tali, dibelakang pun ada boncengannya,.. tutup rantainya juga ada, dan standart nya pun bukan seperti itu, tapi mas kreatif banget salut lah, barang yg tadinya rongsok, bisa bermanfaat kembali. I noticed he used a vice for a spanner. When i was young, all i had for tools were a pair of pliers, huge monkey wrench, hammer and a knife and fork.

Egy kicsit emlékeztet arra az időre mikor a Csepel Camping kerékpáromat szereltem össze, és ami a mai napig működő képes állapotban van. Azóta az Európai kresz kicsit még szigorúbb lett. Így a lámpák, a prizmák, a sárga mellény, a fékek is kötelezőek lettek. Mindez a biztonságos közlekedésért. De azért nagyon szép munka, minden elismerésem.

Es una buena forma de reciclar bicicletas en vez de echarlas a la basura...me encantan sus vídeos... quizás ustedes puedan hacer la prueba de pavonar algunos Marcos viejos de bicicleta en vez de pintarlos..es un proceso en el cual se calienta el marco de acero con un soplete, en las brasas de carbón, etc pero no hasta el rojo vivo que puede dañar a las soldaduras, y se lo hace enfriar en un cilindro con aceite usado de motores de carros, el proceso se repite varias veces, y forma una capa negra azulada.. dicen que si pules y abrillantas el metal antes de aplicar este proceso, el acabado es brillante

I actually have an old beach cruiser bike, too. It's a 1971 (Murray) B.F. Goodrich Challenger. It was built in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Good work with clearly limited resourses and tools. You took an unused, unridable bike, and made it usable and ridable again, and cleaned it up pretty well. It's more a repair than a classic restoration, but it will get someone to where they need to go. I used to build bikes for a living, as well as finding and repairing/restoring old bikes and giving them to people who couldn't afford one...especially kids. I would STRONGLY suggest a set of handlebar grips, that would prevent you from being gored by the handlebars in an accident. I've seen that happen, and it was horrible. Reflectors would be a nice touch also.
