I thought Bikas Bhattacharjee was an intelligent person, though I did not regard him as highly learned, but as I saw him during his Parliament address, I found him an arrogant egoist and he took upon himself the authority to see others, other cultures in poor light. What a shame! Certainly, Bengal and Bengali language donot teach him that. It is their CPM culture. Because of them, education, health, industry, and most good things left Bengal and like many, I also left Bengal over five decades back. Carry on Bikas Bhattacharjee with your frog in the well canard.
