This is not much, but since I got curious of the song, here is an insight about the song's lyrics: This must be one of the most creative songs I've heard in a while, lyrically speaking. I'm quite impressed that Yoshida Minako-san had written this herself. Minako Yoshida's 『ケッペキにいさん』"Keppeki Niisan" or "Mr. Keppeki" is a song about a certain person's (Mr. Keppeki) compulsion to always want to be neat and calculated with his routines but sadly, he cannot control his actions. A very textbook example of someone suffering from OCD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. 『ケッペキ 』or in romaji *keppeki* refers to a personal trait of having a compulsion of being/feeling neat. The repetitiveness of this word at the beginning together with the person's routine like compulsively washing his hands and watching them bubble, checking his teeth in the mirror, shaving, pressing clothes, having lots of alarms, and even being paranoid if ever the locks and screws of his doors and windows are secured etc., The last line expresses his want to stop all of these things, *『もうたくさん やめにする』,* "moutakusan yamenisuru" which means *"I've had enough of this"* or *"this has to stop"*. In reality people with OCD have a hard time realizing when to stop or when enough is enough for them. (Feel free to critique this, I am just sharing my amazement about everything in this song. Also, kudos to the composer and arranger of this song. They are geniuses in making the melodies work to create a picture through a song.)
