Nice to see a normal reaction to a tornado for once. My mother’s a pyscho who thinks it’s fun to sit at a window and just watch that shit happen. A tornado ran right past her house when she was a kid and now it’s like she’s convinced they won’t touch her. Edit: Yes, we’re Midwestern.

Oh yeah morticians get paid loads. My late step-father when he left his job as a medical examiner (PTSD from the Piper Alpha incident) he worked as a mortician in a funeral home, said it was strangely relaxing and he “never had a customer complaint”, he also spoke to them through the whole process. Paid loads of money and helped a family see their loved ones one last time, so yeah, morticians get paid good money. You gotta have the stomach for it tho.

I’m a tornado geek and..woah..that..sounds terrifying..I never really took it to granite for living in a low tornado state until a tornado was a few miles away from me. It wasn’t big..but still absolutely terrifying as it went eerily silent and the sky turned green..I can’t imagine what it’d be like a block away! Nether less an EF4!

Props for having the correct reaction of getting to cover. Just curious, was there no tornado warning? Seems like there should have been one with a tornado on the ground. Id reccomend getting a weather radio. You set it to your county and it sounds an alarm when there's severe weather.

The ranch one reminded me of a story from my work: so I work at Chick-fil-A and they sell 8 ounce sauce containers of all the different types of sauces they have there the most popular being Chick-fil-A sauce of course. One day I was working the register and a lady walked up and ordered one of the 8 oz. Chick-fil-A sauces so complete the transaction and she walks over to where we keep the straws, pops open the container, gets the straw out, and proceeds to drink 8 oz. of Chick-fil-A sauce in front of my eyes.

Great video as always Puffer! I am south of Austin and had to drive home in that storm from work when it came through. Shit was terrifying. I had to drive 20 miles under speed limit just to see past the front of my work truck, while also getting hit with quarter sized hail.

The tornado came very close to us, we have limbs in the yard, it went into the neighboring county and tore some houses completely apart. Everyone made it out alive though! This being in South Carolina. I didnt hear the warning until it was basically over..

The same exact thing just happened to me. The hail hitting the windows, the sideways wind, the house shaking, a tornado. It was crazy. There were uprooted trees, chipped wood all over the road. The craziest part is right after. It looks like a horror story. The roads were covered with a thick layer of fog, it was dark, there was nobody outside. My intire town looked abandoned. Long story short... It. Was. CRAZY!

I completely forgot you live in Texas.. I was watching the Texas Storm Chasers stream when all of this stuff was happening, some of the storms started over me but eventually moved over there and started turning into tornadoes.
