Government issue cars that fixed to slow down once they reach 100mph, not wanting more security in a hostile environment, him pressuring Big to be out in a hostile environment, him pressuring Big to make more music despite both his album and Big's album being complete, him taking his sweet time leaving the party, and his decree that nobody give any information involving him after the shooting. Yeah this was a setup and a well thought out one at that. It's clear he had been planning that for some time and had to make sure everything was in place including his alibi.

Those responsible were intent and determined to carry out those horrendous intentions and as you say had probably covered both ends of the street and every eventuality, you did all you could... please don't blame yourself, be kind to yourself and allow yourself to move on, don't beat yourself up, get some counselling.
