Biggest Swarm of Budgies

Ойын-сауық

Budgerigars search for food and water in the outback of Australia. They fly in small flocks which gradually join other flocks of budgies, allowing their numbers to increase to super swarms of millions of budgerigars.
Earthflight uses many different filming techniques to create the experience of flying with birds as they encounter some of the greatest natural events on the planet.

Someday when I leave for the other side, I hope to be reunited with all the family birbs I've lost over the years. These little bundles of joy brought me so much comfort during an era where life almost lost all meaning for me. Losing them all overtime always left my heart in tatters. To this day, I still think about you fluffballs deeply wondering if I ever did enough for you. Wherever you six are, I hope you are flying with with far more freedom than I can ever hope to provide you. I love you all.

I feel the same way! I've had budgies since I was little. I always considered budgies as "personifications" of innocence, joy, affection - and fragility. A budgie is one of many proofs to me that God, the Creator of everything, has a tender heart. I live in freezing Vermont, and I make sure my two little friends, Petey and Peeps, stay warm and cozy, and have nice music to listen to while the days are dark. They get the best food and care, and lots of love.

No fear at all. My bird was out and the cat snuck in the room, while I was trying to catch the cat as fast as possible and move him away, the budgie decided that going to him and biting his ears was a good idea. He also loves to tug on the cats whiskers when inside the cage and the cage is looking at him. I'm constantly near having a panic attack trying to get them to stay in two different rooms for their safety

Can confirm. I had a budgie alone for a little over a year. He was okay, but was kind of withdrawn. I got another budgie this year, and the older one is SO MUCH HAPPIER now. They are inseparable, and he's even much friendlier with me. He now will fly to my hand any time I hold it out, and just sit there chillin' with me. He never would have done that before. He even flies on my head and starts pecking around. It's a completely different, much happier bird. I'd say keeping a budgie alone is borderline animal cruelty.

Ah yes. That was my female. She hated her cagemate and hated to be handled but also hated when I handled the other birds and would literally attack me in rage. She was so jealous. Turns out she wanted to breed and even with everything I did it wasn't good enough to lower her hormone levels. My males were young and afraid of her so I gave her to a breeder friend since she was a mutation he wanted. It took a few tries for her to meet a male she likes but now she's very happy taking care of her babies and I'm happy for her. My other birds are happy that she's gone

It’s not good thoughhhhh they can’t survive because of predators attracted by their colourful feathers they can get Ill VERY easily from dirty water eating poop etc and they can’t find enough food or water and if they get sick there is a chance of them surviving IF they go to the vets but they can’t it’s safer When they are home but you can get flight cages chew toys natural perches and more! You can let them out the cage for two hours (in the house) which is safe unlike in the wild,so it May be beautiful looking at them in the wild but it’s very dangerous budgies can’t survive without food or water for a day
