the same as in Indonesian villages, but in cities it is very rare. in Pekalongan there is a special food made from young jackfruit we call it "megono"

In Thailand, jackfruit with red flesh is called Daeng Suriya. The meaning of " Daeng " is red. Suriya = sun (suriya hdeva )

This is considered as holy prasadam. From Tamilnadu India.

In Bangladesh too, there is a lot of jackfruit in the summer, but due to lack of preservation, it has to be thrown away.

This is filmed from Thailand. The jackfruit is called "Ka-Noon" very famous and delicious and could be found in every local market. The Ka-Noon seed can be cooked and eaten in many way. One simple way is boil them in pot and add a bit of salt. The taste is very good. Umami-ed with salt. 👍🏻
