Biggest SINGAPORE FOOD Festival!! Padang Burrito, Laksa Goreng + Stingray Steak & More!
This is the SINGAPORE FOOD FESTIVAL 2023. This year marking its 30th anniversary, this is Singapore's BIGGEST annual food festival’s festival village and today I'm here to try some incredible food and drinks. Let's explore the SFF together. I will be sampling heritage foods with innovative twists like Good Grace's fried laksa Goreng and Rumah Makan Minang's Padang Burrito. Contemporary offerings from Blue Smoke like their Smoked and Grilled Stingray Steak. Sustainable Soy Based Wine from Sachi as well as, homemade family-recipe desserts from Yat Ka Yan. It doesn't end at the festival village, there are also workshops around Singapore like Munchi Pancake's Min Jiang Kueh workshop I tried out!
Singapore food scene is more than just a meal it's an experience. That's why today I'm also taking you for the ultimate farm-to-table dining experience at Scaled by Ah Hua Kelong. A floating seafood farm supplying fresh farmed fish and more from the waters surrounding Singapore to its Asian-fusion restaurant Scaled in the heart of Singapore.
Singapore Food Festival is happening NOW from July 19-30, 2023. Thank you to the Singapore Tourism Board for sponsoring today's episode.

Glad you enjoyed it!
That Pancake is also a traditional dessert in Taiwan. I used to eat it when I was a child. Min Jiang Kueh is also its Taiwanese pronunciation. It’s amazing. Now I finally know why it has that name! That ice cream dessert appeals to me, it looks healthy and delicious! Thank you for taking us to SINGAPORE FOOD FESTIVAL 2023, great job! 👍🤩🙏 P. S. In fact, Taiwan took a very interesting name from its pronunciation: pancakes without frying. In fact, Min Jiang is a river in Fujian, which should be its birthplace; Kueh is cake. Those who have studied phonetics and Taiwanese should understand what I said more easily!

Thanks for a very nice video about Singapore's biggest food festival 👍
Hi Luke! It was such a good & interesting video! Visiting that fish & seafood farm must have been interesting! I think that mussels curry at the restaurant looked good. I would have loved to try it even though I don't like mussels. Thank you and your videos are great! Best wishes from Scandinavia!
Love ALL the meals presented on this episode 👍🏽🥇

YESSSS…I WOULD RATHER COOK THEM ALL AS SEAFOOD CUISINE JUST GRILLED INSTEAD OF ASIAN FUSION BLA…BLA…
This vlog definitely needs lot more views. I wonder what's with youtube algorithm that nice videos like this one has less views that it should actually have achieved. Not many people outside Singapore are aware of the Singapore food festival and glad to know about it through this video.
Nice 😋😋👌

my best bro luke looking handsome thank you for your huge respect against cpec friendship countries lot of love from your best bro viki 🍻
I really look traditional to me. It looks more like a gigantic expat food court.
I'm confused with the pricing...even after exploring their website😐 Does a entry, premium and/or premium just include drinks and entry only? Does one buy food from the vendors individually?
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Traditional hawker food is Singapore.
Not often that I hear of someone who has the same seafood allergy as myself. Exactly as he described his allergy!

I wonder how people in Padang (West Sumatra, Indonesia) feels about having Nasi Padang inside a burrito 🤣 BTW if the chef is ethnically Minangkabau, he’d know better than to call that thing ‘rendang’ as it barely even looks like a ‘kalio’ being so wet 😢
@dennisolive4741
Жыл бұрын
Wow that person was wondering how the people think about putting nasi rendang in a burrito. I say why not. Don't be so stuck in tradition. It's nice to change things up. Following rules is what Sheep do. Bah bah!

@@dennisolive4741 relax, dude. I’m all for fusions. I’m just wondering because the Minangkabaus (from Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia) are very protective of their food.

it's already invented in Indonesia before COVID in Indonesia, at early 2019 if i don't mistaken. but I don't know if this is a same person who open the vendor or not, or they really are from Padang lol

Why do you subtitles? They're speaking English. Sorry if our English doesn't meet your high standards.
Singapore is not place to eat very expensive
Due to such events, the lowest types of road-side dining have to be discarded. No-ramly nonsense.
SINGAPORE REALLY KNOWS HOW TO COOK??? U CAN TRY TELL THAT TO INDONESIANS
