Biggest Railway Bridge in South Australia - Seaford Rail Extension

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The bridge over the Onkaparinga River on the Seaford Metro line is one of the biggest rail bridges in Australia! The bridge was built as apart of the Seaford Rail Extension at a cost of $292.2 million which involved extending the Noarlunga line, 5.7 kilometres to Seaford and electrifying the line from Adeliade for electric train use. This project was complete in early 2014.

I believe the bridge was built over a Kaurna People burial site. To protect it and the National Park there.Obviously approved by them too. A great share and a great part of The Fleurieu Peninsula.

This is excellent. Great footage, camera angles and editing. And of course lots of trains. I should go on it again, only did when it first opened (got on at Noarlunga , down to Seaford and then back again on the same train lol).

Great work. 👍 You even managed to capture a six-car set. 😍 Will you consider making a video on the electrification of the Gawler line at some point? 🤔
