I just died by the Bes shotgun and I feel mega salty about it. It's always the deaths that are easily preventable that piss me off the most.

There were a lot of deaths with the nest and gravel, also there were a lot of deaths when not OP avatar was first released. Btw, that "unknown force" was a hacker that spread key logged hacked client over the internet and got passwords of over 3000 accounts that used it. He killed/ dropped everything they had and he even leaked all those account names to public.

I remember i witnessed a massacre caused by lag in an ot, oxygen wouldn't replenish resulting in the deaths of at least 20 characters, even nexusing didn't work, but i managed to escape to the main menu before i died

This is why I’m paranoid when I play rotmg

The most satisfying massacres were when you'd see entire multiboxes wiped out by an ice sphere

4:00 This video is my recording so I can give a little context behind it. There was a major account breach incident last year where someone released a fake version of a hacked client with what was essentially a keylogger in it. If you wanna see the full list of compromised accounts you can see it here docs.google.com/document/d/1cQ_d_Ytdra225C9yYxqPDraI2w5wdxcIl6I32BU8c_o/edit?usp=sharing Anyways the perpetrator was apparently with a RWT site, and siphoned all the valuable items (pixies and whatnot) and after they were done gave the account info to a bunch of guys who took scraps and suicided the rest. I happened upon one of these guys on my main server and got him into our guild discord, where he talked about the situation and gave us a bunch of the items on the accounts. Basically in this particular clip he used a multibox hack to control multiple of these breached accounts at once and suicided them all while we laughed in the call. It seems pretty bad until you consider these guys were all hackers and that these were probably some of their only deaths in their realm career

Like seriously, they died because of a glitch, not because they were bad, those pros spent a lot of time to get that good and because of a glitch they lose it all and guess what people say? Seriously, how hard would it be to put in a sort of safeguard against lag? Like maybe your character gets stasis'd if the server detects lag or something, idk. It's probably impossible, but I guess I can dream. edit: wtf was that last one? Was this in the old days and the devs were being cheeky?

A hacker (Swatsec) managed to spawn 2 Wine Cellar Oryxes inside the Nexus, which killed many people who logged in. This was also the reason Battle For The Nexus (high level dungeon) was created, as a sort of apology to players (I think the whole story is on Realmeye if you are interested).
