Biggest Halibut Yet Shore Fishing Seward Alaska #2

Largest Halibut, Surf Fishing, Seward Alaska, from Shore against all Odds #2, Beach fishing is extremely exciting in Seward. There are many kinds of fish available. We will show you some of our larger fish.
B Outdoors Alaska goes on fishing trip to try and
catch Fish but Halibut was not only kind of Fish!
caught. Summertime in Seward has many.
opportunities available of which Shore fishing is not
well known. Come along and watch our exciting!
adventures.
We Head out Surf Fishing March 16th with Several Other Fisherman /viewers. Momma B Catches Our New Record Halibut from Shore. The Day Starts out on a great Note with The Bite on and off all day. We catch Several different fish from Pacific Cod or Grey Cod, Rock Fish, Black Cod, Sculpin, Starfish? Count and of Course Halibut!!! OH, and almost a Seal and not By Choice LOL the Thieves stole fish and played Tug of War with others. We had a Fish Break 50lb Test like it was nothing and took 210ft of line with it. As the Day progresses, we get more and more Bites. Once High Tide Rolls around it seemed that the Big Fish were here and Ready to fight.
We used Drones for about 1/2 the fishing Poles and Cast the Other 1/2 utilizing both methods. We usually also Catch Shark, Skate, Founder, Irish Lords, Greenlean and Pollock. If this video was of interest, please join us on TikTok, Facebook Boutdoorsalaska and Group Drone Surf Fishing Alaska.

Awesome catch! Have you tried any other areas? Or is the snow prohibiting access to other spots? A long time ago folks used to be able catch herring when they came into the harbor in April with sabiki rigs off the ramps, good way to load up on bait. Don’t know if the herring still come in like that, some of them were big for herring. Appreciate the videos and the work that goes into making them!

Thanks yes we have been over in Cook Inlet all over and other places. The cod were full of Herring and I am hoping to load up on herring it would save a lot of money Cook Inlet was full of Ice in water 2 weeks ago making it extremely difficult not get swept away

You can do it now but they come in shallower in warmer when following Bait Fish Sandy bottom is much better for simple reason less snagging but muddy bottom is bad for their Gills I have been Told so sandy is what we almost always fish
