Harry said that he was joking about Brenda being his sister, he didn't say anything about joking about Larry going strong, he also didn't say it wasn't real. Also he didn't say that he wasn't jealous about Louis and Elenour, he said he was joking about not wanting to talk about it and he still didn't talk about it. I'm not saying that you have to believe in Larry or that this proves anything at all, I'm just saying what happened and what my point of view is as someone who ships Larry.

If you look at all the Larry 'evidence' from this perspective you realise 95% of it can be EASILY explained away, the rest being a coincidence. Holly G I never have and never will harass them about Larry. I ship them but I would never force anything on them. I ship them solely based off of observations I’ve made and there’s a complete possibility it was all just fun n games but to me it seems a bit too far for that. I only talk about Larry to other Larries bc I know it can be annoying so pls stop believing every larrie is forcing every little detail to be about Larry, especially when in my comment I simply stated I had never seen that interview used as a piece of “proof” before. Not everything that has happened over the last 10 years can be categorized as joking or a coincidence and being a larrie is not a hobby it’s simply thinking two people could’ve been/could be in a relationship. Hollywood has a lot of secrets and something like a gay relationship is hidden all the time for promo. You don’t need to be a larrie or even ship them but please don’t watch Larry videos just to hate on other people who support the same people you do. TPWK. :)

An example of how it seemed like Harry outed himself by accident is in one of their really old interviews on The Chattyman show (I've forgotten the name but the host is Alan I think) and he's asked if Zayn gooses him. Harry says yes then Zayn says no so Harry back tracks quickly saying no. An instance like that is very real and very accidental.

fun fact: I've never heard of that proof...

Just the fact that 7 months later, this channel posted a video about Zarry romance and mentioned at least twice that they thought Louis/Harry were together or had feelings at some point totally discredits this a lot, and also the commenters as well. They believe they stumbled onto a channel that disproves and doesn't believe in Larry while in all actuality, the channel does believe in Larry though thinks Zarry(even more left field) is real. I've also never, in my time of being a 1D fan, seen this being used at big proof. If I'm being really honest, I've maybe seen this one 2-3 times, and usually as cute moments. I've technically been in the fandom since 2012, took a break from 2016 to 2020. Been a Larry almost the whole time, once I back into 1D, I've looked into Larry proof, thinking maybe I was just young and dumb and wanted my favorite band to have a romance that reflected my own sexuality in a way. Going back at 22 with more knowledge of how men work as well as the music industry, I still see the same thing, that Larry is real, or at some point real.

I'm sorry, and I want people to believe whatever they want to believe, but I've never heard that interview used for proof in Larry vid and I've watched quite a few. I'm sure there are some people who take parts of that interview like you said, but I'm just saying that a lot of people don't do that.

I used to ship larry too, but now I just think it's stupid. How weird is it to get shipped with one of you're band mates and close friends? Yeah, I do think that Harry maybe had a little crush on Louis and it's quite obvious that Harry isn't straight. But Louis has a girlfriend (Ik many larries say that she's fake, but in my opinion it's very disrespectful to say that), a son and he said that he's straight. If Harry or Louis would say that they're together (or married or whatever) I would of course support them.

How did the comments of this turn into a Zarry vs Larry argument? I honestly never even considered Zarry to be a thing... Is everyone seriously forgetting that Zayn was engaged with Perrie for years... And had a massive tattoo dedicated to her... I ship Larry but I'd like to think of myself as being fairly open minded. 1. I have watched hundreds of Larry videos before and i have never come across this interview in any of them 2. Harry really sounds serious and a little sad when he says he doesn't want to talk about Elanor, when hears the interviewers shocked responses when he says this, he panics and tries to play it off as a joke. 3. There are a thousand Larry moments and you say that this one clip proves them all wrong.

let me just say this for everyone saying that the larry ship has no proof or that it doesn't make sense. If larry wasn't even remotely real then why was Modest so hush hush about it?? All of the other boys joked around about there ships but larry rarely even talked about their ship in interviews. before you say that they were uncomfortable about larry, they made a lot of lyric changes for each other and other subtle things like that. they just never straight up talked about it (from what i know) in interviews unless asked. plus there are many proofs of modest trying to separate the boys when they wanted to be together. Modest never let Lou and Haz be open about what ever was happening between them bc it was real unlike the other ships between the boys.

as a certified larry shipper, i have weeded out most of the videos/photos/tweets etc. that don't portray what some larries might claim it does. like this video for example, i get so mad because they don't show the rest of the audio. it really sucks when some larry accounts misconstrue 'evidence' because it just discredits the actual, real proof

If it was played normally you would see they literally just quickly looked at eachother in a completely normal way. They are also cut up to make it seem like something else. You wouldn’t believe the amount of times they cut something out and re arrange the videos or cut someone else out to make it seem like a Larry thing 😂

@@rosiew2757 well rosie let's do some math shall we. In 2013, Harry would have been 20, louis 22. They didn't legalized same-sex marriage for all states till 2015. Although it was legal in vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and another state in 2008-2009 in order for your marriage to be "legal" you had to be a resident of that state. Now in England, marriage became legal in 2013 and the first actual marriage was in 2014. Just some facts for ya👍

I think that this video is just kinda funny. I'm a Larry and I haven't seen this video before, but the fact that some people have tried to use this as proof is a little far fetched. I think that maybe some of them hadn't seen the whole interview when they had used it to prove Larry, but it doesn't really matter because I don't think it would have been a big Larry proof even if he had said he was jokng, because he probably was/is tired of getting asked about it. Also, thank you for not trying to make this an anti-Larry video. I agree that there are crazy ones out there who do terrible things like coming after their family and friends and that is most definitely NOT okay. But we aren't all like that. There is real actual proof that makes it seemingly impossible to deny (I'm not talking about videos of them staring at each other or any of that crap) in my opinion. That's the way we joke, we are generally more comfortable with sexuality and guys will act the way many of the ships do with each other in normal guy groups. If you look at all the Larry 'evidence' from this perspective you realise 95% of it can be EASILY explained away, the rest being a coincidence. Aww bless @babu ck i mean it's time to let go and start looking at the facts. Larry loved each other, that's obvious. Harry more than Louis i believe but that's just my opinion but they grew up and grew apart. Louis was still being loud and obnoxious and harry matured seemingly over night and became very quiet and reserved (much like Z) and h was just over it. It just didn't suit him anymore, doesn't mean he didn't still love him but that whole larry shxt had ran it's course for him. Not to mention he appeared to have his eye on somebody else.... All i ever said was that zayn clearly loved harry from the beginning and i gave several reasons why and how i knew that to be true. and I am pointing out things that don't add up. Like why if they never really spoke was harry the one who knew zayn best and vice versa? Why would he tell a story that could be so easily refuted? These are the questions i ask, and they are rhetorical and also have nothing to do with his sexuality. He can very well identify as straight and still love a man. 🤷🏾‍♀️whether it be romantic or not. Which brings me to another point, if it wasn't romantic why lie about it but never try and cover it up or set the record straight. I'm just saying......

When was the interview taken?

The thing is everyone has a ship. People nowadays can ship any celebrity with another. This is something normal. I am new to 1D songs and randomly bumped into this video BBC music 2014 where the band is talking about some linkup with Obama. Looked like a funny commentary going on between the teenagers. And one of the guys called Liam joked out about the link up rumour saying that 'Zayn was a training exercise' for Harry. While watching that , I got a recommendation for this video. Hence thought of commenting. Dunno who is who. But I liked that cute guy Niall. Totally new here. Plse excuse if made any stupid remark.

Its very annoying actually when you are trying to navigate in this fandom and people are constantly talking BS, its becoming clearer and clearer that Harry and Louis were probably just friends or even if something small did happen or one of the guys had a bit if a crush people have blown it all up out of context. You're not a real fan if you have to make up lies and edit things to bully and manipulate people into your theory. Having said that the boys have 'played' into 'Larry' a couple of times. Personally IDC and find it all good fun, but some younger or more vulnerable fans might be genuinely upset. Though These two ppl can't even meet for a coffee without being accused of d8ing and Larry baiting. The whole thing is out of hand. If its fake proof people should face consequences, how would they like it the other way round, people insisting they are dating their friends and twisting reality to suit their own special mental needs. I'm not trying to belittle anyones opinion or 'Ship' I'm just trying to say 'twisting' and downright lies are wrong and not nececary. As for 'Larry' as it's owb ship I think you will find that most larries think Eleanor is a Beard so cheating isn't an issue and Harry isn't a 'side chick' . There is also the possibility that there is some kind of 'Open Thing' or has been or 'Larry' was/is more complicated than this invented 'love story' which looks to be a twsted narrative with plotholes. to the point it gets very 'reachy' . If 'Larry' in the romantic sense is real I do not believe the love story some have invented to fill a gap in their own lives. It looks to be a lot of projection... as with some of the other ships. However nor do I think Elounor is 'Loves young dream' if it's real there is quite a lot of footage where Louis basically does pretty much ignore her, there is some weird video footage of early days with Harry ( however again we do not know full context) I saw one clip where Louis physically barged past her, it did not look to be edited but you can't always tell. Zayn leaving the band within four days (especially if you believe in 'zarry') of Louis and eleanor announcing their split and the Louis and Harry being publically closr for the first time in a long while and two songs were written in this time one by them bth which is about basically two people who are 'fuck buddies' that get up to no good, and 'No control' which Louis did not obviously write for Eleanor as they were not together at this time and I doubt it was for either of his other short lived 'flings' Fact is Eleanor was majorly put to one side for a long time in which time Louis had a baby with someone else!!! We are led to believe it is Harry that wanted a hiatus and there is some narrative to suggest the boys fell out over, and then suddenly Eleanor has forgiven all and is back on the scene. I mean great that she is so forgiving ..... maybe it was her that broke it off with Louis.... or maybe it is because she seems to not have a job (Yes I know she is a 'model') but it does not seem like a full time thing. I keep hearing that it is but I don't see it. I mean who is she? one minute I'm reading her parents are Kim and Murray and then they are Deoborah and Phillip!?! literally wtf?? go google for yourself, and it appears she somehow met Louis through Harry (which is weird to say the least) and was 'born' through Modest management (but we're not really sure) . Basically we know very little about Eleanor other than the fact she never has any commitments when Louis has events he wants her to go to with him. Is Eleanor on the dole? does Eleanor not have work comittments too if she is a model?? The aiport debarcle? she left Louis and flew off to another country when he was arrested just after he lost his mom, after he was defending her. (or at least I think that is what we are led to believe I do not know that for fact but it was on a trustworthy channel so if that's wrong then the girl was mislead not twisting deliberate) No. Elounor is not 'Loves young dream' I mean he's 27 seven they've been together for years, she's got back with him after he had someone elses baby. Why aren;t they at least engaged?? (please I'm not trying to encourage any terrible publicity stunts or EXTRA PDA's if they are real, I'd like to keep my breakfast, but I'm just pointing this all out. Point is we know nothing about these people, Even if some people 'know' them. Do they really know them?? tbh if you're not the boys themselves, Harry's mom or possibly Lottie or someone like that then I doubt you really KNOW anything. You could of slept with Harry and that still does not mean you would know the whole truth about someone. Also watch the FULL interview where louis says he likes 'i loved you first' he is unhappy in that video and relates to that song. Why? he is happily with Eleanor so who did he not tell how he felt about them. Course he maybe just likes the song .....maybe. and 'steal my girl' is about someone the 'world' wants. Eleanor is very beautiful, but the world isn't lusting over her. However there are other candidates that meet the criteria. British humour is dry, especially Harry's. That's the way we joke, we are generally more comfortable with sexuality and guys will act the way many of the ships do with each other in normal guy groups. If you look at all the Larry 'evidence' from this perspective you realise 95% of it can be EASILY explained away, the rest being a coincidence. Please find a new hobby and stop harassing them this way. Thanks TPWK.

I think the massive issue with a lot of larries is not understanding sarcasm and British humour. All of the boys particularly Louis and sometimes Harry have a very dry sense of humour extremely sarcastic. So they will say things with a straight face and in serious tone but are actually joking and usually if you can pick up on sarcasm you will understand it’s not real and it’s a joke but there some people who think it’s serious. Like when harry said about Larry in the first clip you can sense in the tone of his voice and the way he said it that he was being sarcastic. As someone who is extremely sarcastic herself I immediately picked up on it. He was joking he wasn’t being serious. He even admitted ten seconds later that he has a dry sense of humour and is being sarcastic. Then in the second clip again he said in a very serious tone “I don’t want to talk about it” but again if you understand what a dry sense of humour is it’s very obvious he is again joking which he then clarifies a few seconds later.

Can you explain the sarcasm in the Nokia interview? How were they joking around when they would touch each other on the thigh, behind a table, when they thought no one was looking? What was so funny about Harry and Louis walking down the street with Harry’s arm around Louis and Louis holding Harry’s hand and when they got close to fans Louis dropped Harry’s hand? Was Harry only joking when he came out of the building, where it looked like he had been crying while Eleanor and Louis got their picture taken and immediately after, when Eleanor went to walk away with some guy, Zayn did a hand gesture to shoo her away? Why is it so hard to believe that 2 teenage boys, neither of them straight, were put together in a boyband and fell in love with each other. They would have been strongly advised to keep quiet that not only are they not straight but they are a couple.

I think larry is cute and all I'm not a hardcore shipper , I see it more as a conspiracy theory at this point . Anyway , it really makes my head spin this whole "ship" , I look at proofs or coincidences and then right after I look for proof to debunk everything and god its a headache . I find stuff that seems hella valid and then find something that changes my mind and Jesus how this fandom puts up with it all is beyond me . I'm 200% sure nobody sleeps .

Larry shippers are sick in the head. I can't believe they think it's real and even worse that they don't see how disrespectful it is. Not to mention they use gay and straight male stereotypes as to why they are "gay". They don't even realize they are actually being homophobic by pushing these stereotypes on men.

I think people can ship what they want but when it starts involving real people and then pushing said ship on them it's going too far. I don't care if people ship Larry but don't go after them with this stuff when it obviously makes them uncomfortable. It's incredibly disrespectful and rude. At the end of the day, these 'fans' still don't know if it's actually real or not. Larries may not want to hear this but I'm pretty sure Harry and Louis despise Larry shippers considering their friendship never seemed the same afterwards... It's sad really 😔 Can you imagine everyday, people saying with complete certainty that you're in love with one of your best friends and in a sexual relationship for years...? That would get to anyone eventually. Do they even realise how badly they effect their 'idols'? Still don't get why people can't understand this??
