Whats the update on this? Did you ever install a drip or mist system? Pretty cool idea but curious to how it’s working out with the veileds and panthers together. Wish we were neighbors.

Hey! sorry just now seeing this! Yes I did install a drip system. Ill be posting a video here soon of it. I did have to end up separating the males from the females as I had figured. But the females have all been getting along just fine.

you may want to make sure those umbrella plants are the kind they can have. I read online that there are 2 types and one is poisonous. Everything looks beautiful. And they do need running water. My veiled at least does. He will not drink otherwise.

why not add some bigger or taller plants/trees ? it would make the chameleons feel much safer as well as making the setup look fantastic !

100% agree with you that one! I do have more videos I’m about to upload that shows some added stuff for the chameleons. At the very start we were not able to buy any larger plants due to the budget. At 2 foot high hibiscus cost us 15 dollars when I 4 foot high one was like 40 lol so we went with the small one knowing that they would grow eventually. It hasn’t even been a year yet and I’d say they are about 4 foot high! I’ll do an updated video 🙌🏻

And the holes are small for the chameleon

@@jeandiaz2645 Thats what I was going to ask, how big the holes were. If they are not big enough for them to get it that should be okay. Except With this setup that I made, I actually wish that I would have went with even smaller wire mesh and possibly just screen. Because crickets can get out of this. It Makes for a headache because you have to sit there and feed the chameleons on cricket at a time and cant just throw them In the cage and let them hunt.

You live in fl? Only reason I ask because I live in fl and want to do the same. With that being said you shouldn’t have to worry about temp and humidity right? Just water and food?

Yeah!!!! Unfortunately I’m in like the panhandle of Florida around the Pensacola area! We do actually get temps that can go some winters to like 18 degrees lol so we have their enclosures set up in our shop for winters🙌🏻 will be posting some update videos soon and videos of the shop! The plants have grown like crazy!

Definitely gutsy... no way in hell I would be mixing males and females, especially with veiled chameleons. Male veiled chameleons will try and mate with a 3-month old female, they don't care. Unnecessary stress, those should all have dividers in them, because a veiled chameleon will 100% fight a panther, and it wouldn't be much of a fight, the veiled chameleon has the hardest bite of any species and the panther one of the softest. Don't be surprised when you find some dead ones

We did have to separate the males but the females never did. Maybe because it was so big they didn’t really see each other very much.
