Bataan is really a nice place to visit.i heard long time ago when the late President Marcos still alive, he tried to improve that city.that is why he built the Bataan Solar Plant.i dont know if its how they called it.my late father told me about this that if they will open that solar plant, people can save alot of electricity.

Wow I’ve only been there once but luckily the elevator was doing fine that day so we’re able to see the view from the top of the cross. The view was amazing❤️. We spoke to some tourists that have been there multiple times and they said that the lift was under renovation most of the time so I guess we were lucky. And if you’re planning to go to Mt. Samat, make sure you have your own or rent a vehicle, specifically a van or a car. Bring your own food and water as well because the snacks there are really pricey. They also sell souvenir items and shirts. Pls also wear a jacket or any thick clothing. I don’t recommend for you to try going up and walking down. The first time we went there, we tried walking down ( it took us 2+ hours) and we almost died from exhaustion😫. Nevertheless, it’s a very enjoyable experience and I would love to visit there again if I do have a chance.❤️

Balanga means a big clay pot. That is why you can see clay pot decorations through the entire city especially in the plaza mayor.

Thank you Basel for sharing this vlog in Bataan, very historical...Bataan death march for veterans. My father would be had been happy to seen that place memorialized for him since he marched and escaped during WW2. He was one lucky soldier how escaped the death march.

I so love Philippine History, i remember I was then 9 or 10 when I read the abt the Death March, it hit me so hard .I cried and cried for the lives the Soldiers.I kept that little old book and read it like 3-4x .that started my deep love for Philippine history then the Noli Me Tangere.

i miss mt samat my father used to work there...and i experience living there also😍 and you cant take photos and videos inside the museum for military safety

I couldn't go with daddy to Mt Samat😭😭

Ive been there.the view was amazing. Standing infront of the colonnade, facing west is the mnla bay. This monument is well thought of. It is even facing rizal monument. Theres so much history with it. It just felt strange in the museum. Perhaps because of the old collections and knowing how and what our soldiers went through then died in the Bataan Death march.
