She’s saying it to family. The actress in the purple ruffle, the one who says, “Me, too,” before being told to be quiet by Blanche is Rue McClanahan’s niece, Amelia Kinkade. She later co-starred in a trilogy of horror movies, Night of the Demons (1987, 1994, and 1997) as Angela.

Born 1984, got into this show in the late 90s on TV Land (my mom wouldn't let me watch it until I was older) & then she would watch with me, my mom passed in 2022...& now i watch with my 13 year old daughter, the show is literally timeless

I didn't discover the show till my teens and now my boys enjoy it also. It started out with Rose telling a St. Olaf story and when I knew anything they had binged 4 hours with me. Smh what a great time😁😁😁😁

omg...right...I was just watching it today and thought,man I know that actor, but I didn t remember exactly where I had seen her...thank you! those soap operas of the 90s were pure gold, I m a 90 s kid and honestly wouldn t trade those movies for todays Netflix and other crap for anything...I guess they just had better screenwriters than they do today...kinda sad when I think that I m only in my late 30s and not yet an old lady lol....stuff like Game of Thrones and so on is nothing for me...

Rose looks beautiful in that silver and lavender.

I was in my mid 20’s when these “old ladies” appeared on tv. Now I’m older than half of the four when they started.

An Easter egg I've never noticed until now: Blanche's Chinese vase which Rose shattered with gun fire in an earlier episode from Season 1 was replaced by a artistic rendering seen on the wall at 4:53 on the opposite side of the door from it's original location. I love that!

I love how sometimes there are situations that seem very serious and tense - and actually are - but that lovely Golden Girls segue chime comes in, and there are nothing but good feelings. You just know everything will be okay and it's so satisfying. Anxiety who?

Also for everyone wondering about the last one, Rose also got mace disguised as hairspray (which Blanche accidentally used thinking it was hairspray and wound up blinding herself at the police station following up the report on her stolen jewelry), Rose got over her fear by kicking a guy following her, though it just turned out to be a car lot guy asking about her car, and Blanche’s jewelry wasn’t actually missing; she forgot she moved it.
