Graeme, You are an absolute magician with the grinder and hoof knife..I have owned hooved animals for a long time and do the hoof maintenance on my sheep and horses. I really don't think the average person does not realize how precise you have to be with the knife and I am in absolute awe when I watch you work that knife so accurately on every video. One simple mistake and the farmer could end up with an animal that is lame. The funny thing is that most don't know how hard it is to use the knife either! Keep making these great videos :)

She certainly wasn’t sure how to walk without those long hooves anymore. 😂 It’s kind of like when you put shoes on a dog. They pick their feet to extra high. Good work sir. The cows and people, certainly appreciate your care.

Such an emotional and jnspiring moment when she gets out of the crush for first time and realizes her feet feel much better. The slow motion diarrhea really capped the episode nicely!

@@CRaZyAbOuTYuGi honestly that's most industrial farming. I grew up farming. We ran 80 head of dairy cows and went way overboard on care compared to people that ran 400 to 1,000 cows. Farming on such a massive scale is extremely detrimental to the cows quality of life. They are social animals who need open pasture. Or stuff like what this guy fixes happens...

he scrubs down between jobs to prevent speed of anything from farm to farm and I'm sure he hoses off his hoodie or shirt at the last farm before going home( or does it at home) I change out of my barn cover clothes before I go in the house

This proves how hardy these ladies actually are, and how adaptable they are too. I loved how at the end she was like "Where have my feet gone?" I'm so glad the farmer managed to find you, I sincerely hope that all of the cows on this farm have better feet going forward. Though, they can't fail to if you visit them regularly. The care that you guys have for these animals is so respectful. They truly need your help. Weather they are milk or food, they still deserve healthy happy life. Thank you for sharing.

Poor girl She was so lost but I'm sure happy when she took those first steps "Wait hol up. I can walk?" Lol

That's pretty amazing to see. The cow has already adapted to the long toes so when trimmed you can see how it's anticipating the touching of the ground way earlier on the back legs. That must have felt really good for the cow nice job.

That cow was so relieved 🥺💕

Whenever I see cattle nowadays, I'm concerned about the state of their hooves 😆

I love all animals and you are entertaining to watch. Its surprisingly addictive to watch you fix them up LOL

After your work, she will be a famous ballet star on KZread! A dancing cow! Bravo!

I don’t usually watch farming channels. But I’ve been watching this lately. I must say I thank god for all of you that care some much about our animals. Being able to walk properly is such a basic need to these animals. I’m impressed.

She was so thankful she even left the farmers a gift at the end. Such a sweet cow!

In defense of the farmer he couldn’t find a hoofer. It was explained in the notes.

Liz L It's great you mention it because the majority of people do not read the description. That way they know that the farmer is not at fault, he just couldn't find a hoof trimmer.

Still strange that it got that bad. I wonder how fast those hoofs grow, I am sure it is not a quick thing.

I love how she seemed unsure how to walk for a few moments, than seemed to realize she could step unhindered by having normal hooves again. What you do is nothing short of amazing. You make sure those animals can live a little more comfortable and happy/ healthy. Keep up the great work and videos👍 cheers
