YRF was good until Yash Chopra ji was alive.. he made the brand iconic with films like Chandni, Kabhi Kabhi, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai.. Aditya maintained and elevated the corporate aspect of the studio... but without soul or heart. Now we get Thugs Of Hindostan, Shamshera or Pathaan.

No bro you misunderstood the situation thugs and pathan are nowadays movies which were very different from YRF 2000s movies in which every song was masterpiece, it was under Aditya rule at that time. Even the disaster movies had iconic movies in that era like Tashan, Tara rum pum but nowadays even superhit movies don't have iconic music.

@vishal-et1ue Lamhe se itna koi bada loss nahi hua tha. Flop har company deti hai. Before that, Chandni was a mega blockbuster, and even after Darr.. they made hits like Yeh Dillagi, Aina.. I can agree that SRK made Dharma Productions .. because late Yash Johar ji was not a very commercially successful producer. Karan Johar's career, in a way, was made by SRK. But Yash Chopra didn't need anyone.. if he took any other actor for Darr in those times, it would still be a hit.

First off all both Aditya and Karan are cousins and some dharama films are even distributed by yash raj

If they release movie,income generate more. So kkr group is now unicorn company alone. Mean it's alone valuation is 1.2 billion dollar. It's fucking huge amount in rupees.

If you see old interviews of Kjo or even nepo kids like kareena, etc. (not the latest lot) they were sincere and looked a bit sensible. Fast fwd few years, you can see a snooty quality in all of them, lacking empathy for anyone who is not part of their clan and a false sense of being above than everyone. I wonder what caused that change. I usually see people get more humble with age, but the opposite has happened to Kjo.
