    C'mon, last year, whenever Gary borrowed Uber, he had tied on an umbrella for shade. That was really iffy in strong winds. What about building a frame up your roll bar extending 6 " and then coming forward about 2' in front of you? You brace it with a 2 x 6 or 2 x 8 at a 45 degrees from the top down to the rollover bar area. Then cover it with a reflective tarp, leaving 1' overhang in front and on the sides. In the back, let it come down like a pair of curtains. You could bungee cord them open to see behind you, or leave it closed for sun and rain protection. The top sides and front, use the slats to fasten the tarp to the frame. That should keep the wind from ripping the tarp off. All in all, much cheaper and faster to build than an enclosed cab. If the heat is like this now, what is August and September gonna be like? ❤❤

  • @territhreet
    @territhreet3 күн бұрын

    Maybe by next year you can purchase a hay spike & get one bale on the front with the forks & one bale on back with the hay spike. Wont take as long for ya. And it balances the weight on the tractor. Great work Sir.

    Hey Dave, hope you’ve got sunscreen on. Great neighbors are a blessing. Great for the goats, they are fussy eaters and will leave what they don’t want. My goats avoided mouldy hay which is often where the bails sat on the ground, the rest is great mulch with the goat poop. Yep, steel ain’t cheap so any handy salvage on a property is worth saving for projects. That green gate could help straightened roughly if you lay it flat and drove Uber across the bends, so it’s rough and what you got to lose by trying it.
