U just killed the birthday song

Hi, classical pianist who's been playing for a long time here. When I initially started, I had one of these before moving to a proper piano. To anyone who is thinking of buying this, please read till the end. So here's what I think :- The keys have NO weight. As a result, when I moved to a piano with weighted ones, it felt extremely foreign. And for those saying that it is good for kids/beginners... no, it is not as they wont be able to develop the strengh required to play real piano keys (yes, piano keys aren't that soft). Another reason is the polyphony, that is the ability to play multiple notes at the same time. These pianos have no polyphony, thus u can't play with two hands, crazy classical pieces are next to impossible. So... yeah, if u are in a condition to buy a way better piano with just a little more money, please do. Preferably a 88 keys one, as then u have no limitation to ur playing. But 72 or 61 keys will also do. Thanks for reading.

@@ItsGyani umm... actually it isn't... speaking as a pianist, if u buy THAT for kids or beginners, they will NEVER be able to develop the strength required to play a real, actual piano with weighted keys (which they will obviously have to move to at some point) so... yeah, its not suitable for a beginner🤷‍♂️

@@tigisttemesgen9293 I'd say it really depends on your style/genre, budget, how far you'd like to go with your piano playing, etc. So: If you are just into some modern pop/hip hop/rock stuff and don't think of making a career/profession out of your piano playing, I'd say a nice budget digital piano will do just fine. If you are into classical, jazz or even freestyling modern music, then a decent 88 keys piano with fully weighted and sized keys is recommended. Preferably an acoustic piano, though I for myself use a digital piano. Some reputed brands I'd recommend are- Digital- Yamaha, Casio Acoustic- Steinway and Sons, Bosendorfer, Yamaha, Kawai Even tho I've written the whole thing taking the lowest budget, I would definitely say don't put price over quality because buying pianos is more like an investment. FYI, I use Yamaha P125. And, I am 13 myself... so good luck to your kid on his/her piano journey !!🥰🥰
