I remember doing Dunlop hill about 17 years ago....a lot muddier then....it's seen a lot of use since then, I like your foot recce and slow n steady approach, sadly a rare thing these days....wheels spinning....limiters at their max all add to the degradation of our lanes😖 a good video thank you..subscribed👍

Cheers buddy, I enjoy driving our rights of way, and want that to continue! I feel the same way about the misuse of the lanes, and think people need to be more accountable for there actions... And realise that greenlaning is very different to pay and play days.... Thanks for the sub.... 👍

Nice to see this, followed up your sticker and the suzuki's were with us, the jimny had a clutch slipping and the Vitara made till second corner futher up but wouldn't go more so we thought best to leave them behind and both guys jumped into our trucks! Everyone was ok mate but nice to see that you actually pulled up to take a look 👌👌 good recording too, is deffo a chellenging hill

The only time I've done that right hander at 09:15 without needing a shunt was in a FL1 (td4 auto). Nice lane.

It’s a lot easier now it’s been graded years ago it was really rocky!!

@@ALL_4_WHEELS I wondered if it had been graded, it seemed a lot knarlier when we did it a few years back compared to how it looks now, but wasn't sure if it was just how it looked on video. 👍

@@LanesTracksTrails yeah they had a grader on it probably 2014/16 before then say 2008/12 around then it was a real struggle check out early vids of Dunlop hill was pretty challenging!..used to take us a good 40mins to get up it then,a steady 15mins now unlike my last vid 4Hours stuck on it haha!

It's steeper in person than on camera, but I found it easy enough going.... I can do knarly, have a look at one of my old vids, up osmotherly sheepwash..... 😉

Did you do the river crossing below Dunlop hill??

No bud, I went and looked, it was running about the same height and speed as in your video, and I didn't fancy it on my own, not worth the risk to me bud....175 mile home! I'm sure it would of been fine, but, you never know... It'll keep till spring.... 👍😉

@@ALL_4_WHEELS I did loads of other lanes this time bud, started at the old Roman road and worked my way west... all up round brechfa too... and I did a cracker up through the woods... Video be up next week.... Did a separate one for Dunlop otherwise it would of been an hour long episode, maybe more....
