I think the progress is not so bad for 2 times a week on the sport, but ofc a lot of it is the comeback effect.

Welcome to the world of normal people. 80 kilos here. Ride a bike 300 km per week. Climb two days per week. Train on rings and Beastmaker. Stuck at 80 kilos. 😢

Have you ever considered trying Maître Vauban und der Basilisk? It is supposed to be not that long but quite powerful which I think would suit your style? Possible 9a project for the future?

Hi Mani! I think I remember you saying that the shoes were a big problem when you returned to climbing. How did that work out? How long did it take to feel comfortable again in your old size shoes?

To tell you the truth, I still avoid my prior high performance shoes (Scarpa Instinct) whenever I can, although in the meantime I have no issues wearing them again, my feet already adapted enough. I got an old resoled pair of shoes from Thorsten for my checkouts and easier ascents, which is why at the moment I wear the Instincts only 10% of the time (this boulder session was exclusively done in the old resoled shoes. Really, super tight shoes are only necessary to squeeze out the let's say last 5% of your climbing performance. The rest is in the fingers, body strength, technique and stepping technique/precision, no matter what shoes you climb in :)
