Ok but IU like the one soloist between all those groups and the consistent popularity is crazy. And the fact that 4 HYBE groups are sitting there and watching their seniors winning just proves how much BTS has done and the symbol they have become.

the fact that almost all of these artists sitting there: txt, enhypen, le sserafim, new jeans are all hybe artists is crazy to me. the kind of empire and foundation that bts has built is just insane and will not happen for a very long time in kpop. it really does amaze me to no end.

@@lol-mj1nn You do realize that MAMA pretty much rigged the shit out of the votes in 2017 and it was big BIG news in South Korea at the time because EXO were known as national legends.. they even stopped preforming at MAMA after that. The comment appreciated the efforts of them equally and you chose to comment like this. IU is respected by 99% of the industry as an idol and inspiration, EXO made history multiple times, are idolized by the majority of younger gen idols and are huge in Korea, BTS has legendary success internationally. They all achieved.

@@invisibleJK kpop was already a thing before BTS. They only opened the door for the western market. Ever heard of the Hallyu wave? Without that BTS wouldnt even had the chance to succeed in the West and open the door for other groups. You know just because they are the most known alongside Blackpink doesnt mean they did everything. You have to give credit where its due. The credit BTS has is for the western market.

A year agi i really into txt cz i know them since debut cz the first bro of bts in bighit. I'm support and like them so much! But 6years being army. Seeing this bring me inti tears how much really i miss them. Remember the 2017 that day... 😢😢

Honestly, outside of BTS, I don't think a SINGLE GROUP dominated an entire year the way *BIGBANG* did in 2015. Front to back it was just total annihilation. So many top 3 hits and popular music videos, it was insane. All respect to EXO, but I'd personally give Album of the Year to BIGBANG for 2015 as well. MADE was a much more influential and consistent project than anything else. And that MMA 2015 live performance! One of the greatest live stages in K-Pop of all time and has some of the best reactions from idols as well. The Kings of K-Pop!
