yeah, thing is with choreo is that NO idol can keep up with steady vocals alongside rough choreo. if they do - might probably be either lipsyncing or using backing audio high enough to overshadow one's live vocal. so bb taking a step reducing the choreo and focusing more on vocals and stage presence are undeniably the correct move, and i LOVE it 😂💙🌼

I absolutely love when they only have simple choreo like love song or bad boy compared to a full choreo like bang3x. GDYB Good boy is an exception though. It won't be that good if the choreo is removed.

I found BigBang when I was 17 yo. It was 2008 and I happen to stumble upon their haru haru video. There weren't even any english comments in there yet... they were all japanese! not many people know of kpop yet but if they do, they were super junior or wondergirls and snsd was still on the rise. Seeing this montage brought a lot of memories. From their "My Heaven" single... i can see myself gesturing the "24/7" with my hands to the debut of lollipop of 2ne1.... to the rising taeyang's "wedding dress" and GD's heartbreaker video (where he was so addicted to apples for some reason..LOL). Do you even know how hard it is back then to find live streams on where to watch Inkigayo or mnet live shows? Or how hard it is to find subbed videos of big bang? what got me hooked real bad was the GDxTOP songs from "Knock Out", "High High", "Oh Yeah" "Don't go home" and I feel kinda sad the video was put down because of copyright issues. Then I finally bought my first ever GD album, "One of A Kind" with my hard-earned allowance during college. When I had my first work, I bought myself a ticket to their alive tour. And since I don't have any friends that stan big bang, I went alone but I had a really good time. It was magical buying the flower lightstick and their mini album! I even have the crown headband. And i enjoyed it because the VIPs beside me were all so friendly! By 2015, I went again alone to their made concert. My boyfriend dropped me off and I had the time of my life. By 2017, I was depressed from a terrible breakup so I treated myself by attending GD's act III motte concert. It's been a wild journey. I've been with them for so long that's why it's so hard to give up on this group so easily. I'm now way past the kpop addiction stage but I keep coming back to bigbang to rewatch their live performances and listen to their song. Because let me tell you, crazy dance gimmicks fade out with the trend, flashy videos fade out. But real live performances and damn good songs last. This is coming from a fan that got introduced to kpop because of TVXQ. That's how long I am as a kpop fan. And I know the groups today are good, but they haven't reached even 50% yet of what Big Bang has achieved. I've been there when all the scandals broke loose and they managed to survive this. I trust these boys will decide on things on what they think is right for them. And whatever their decision will be, I will truly support them as long as they're making music and as long as they are happy with it. With so much love, me -- VIP since 2008

My cousin introduce me to Kpop during my Jpop era which ran from 06 to 08... The first group was SNSD (cause she loved girl groups). When she show me my first Big Bang M/V it was the famous Haru Haru. It was at that moment that i knew became a VIP. Heck even now we're planning a watch party for their comeback, hearing this story.make me happy that i am not the only Haru Haru baby of VIP

i'm watching BTS and i like them very much, but watching BIGBANG's performances reaffirms my love for them (BIGBANG). they're a super strong kpop group; doesn't matter if they're performing as solo artist or as a group. I mean the fashion, the swag, the originality - BIG BANG (especially GD) has it all and they're the ones that started it and set the standard. WOW!

They technically didn't. Some of these are solos. The group took breaks that lasted years they just promoted as solo artist in the meantime. Still pretty impressive tho

I realized one thing tho, BB didn't build their empire with one song that blew up. They did it step by step.

They were literally one of the ONLY IDOL GROUPS who sang live 100% of the time during debut.2005, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 were pretty much all lipsync groups. The ones who have survived from 2006 were all real singers but all those other idols have faded out.

When people love music video (MV), I prefer live performance. Thats one and only BIGBANG performance

I just love how different daesungs songs are from the rest😂 But yeah everyone of them has a different style you can notice though

Honestly, they solo songs are so different from each other. Top= Rap GD = Has a bit of everything though (Rap, rock, ballad etc) Tae = R&B Dae = Trot and Rock Seungri = Pop and dance They honestly are 5 uniquely different artists put into a group. And they gel very well. They allow their differences (personality.”, style, fashion) to shine even when they are together. It’s really good.

Daesung: Either trot or really powerful vocal song Taeyang: Dance heavy + sexy song for slow dancing with your partner.

Gd and Taeyang trained for 6 years that's why they perform better. They supposed to be on a hiphop duo..Then YG forget about making hiphop duo instead he added other members then name it BB. That's what Seungri said when they have appearance on HAPPY TOGETHER variety show.

Okay so how can they have a totally different genre from one another, (like daesung trot, taeyang with his rnb style, seungri apparently more into edm or trap, top into hiphop and gd... idk about him. He's too versatile to put into only one category of music. He brought new genre everytime he comes back) and when they're unite they still manage to mold into 1 harmony???

I have been watching kpop even before it became global, all Korean artists like Boa, Lee Hyori, Rain and a lot more are good dancers but weak on singing live when I encountered BigBang they are rare compared to other Korean performers because their voices are clear, so I became a YG fan because it seems they really allow their artists to sing live and produce their own unique music. the new Kpop generation are actually lacking even the very famous ones can't be compared to YGe artists

He was originally and trained to be a rapper together with GD. Liie a duo. Explains the short of breathing but now he's like he would never get out of tune

All I can say is these multi talented boys from 2006 to a very handsome and still the most talented men I've ever seen. All I ask to all VIP out there, if you love these 5 gorgeous dorks in their glory days, please still continue loving them when they are in their bad days. We are like a family and they treated us like one. So, we should love them like our own family in good times and bad times.

So many years passing I still listen to their songs and no one bits them for me. This really helps to illustrate the way they broke the mold in Kpop. Away from cute boys doing synchronized dancing towards pure singers and stage prescence and audience interaction. The boyband and Kpop labels barely apply to them anymore.

they will be able to withstand and surpass their scandals, they're the only group that I could think of which has a very strong but hibernating Fandom and sincere brotherhood. I remembered before THAT daesung was called Murderer by Knetz,GD scandal, Top's suicide attempt and now our Seungri. This too shall pass since their music and bond are unbreakable. The entirety of M.A.D.E was so well put together and packaged. The album it’s self was full of the most amazing songs, and this is only the second album I’ve listened to spanning across all genres that I loved every song( first being AM by Arctic Monkeys). BigBang was the first kpop group that actually caught my attention, and they’re the only one that keeps bringing me back again and again, year after year. To see their progress from that far back( before I even knew of them) till now is just so incredible and just goes to show how mesmerizing, talented, and strong they are as both a group and individually. TL;DR: BigBang are fucking lit af, and tbh hands down the best boyband in terms of stage presence, performance, and musicality. They are a force to be reckoned with, and I will be supporting them till the very end. Looking forward to seeing where else they will go, and what new sounds they will bring. P.S: Seungri’s Gotta Talk to You was such an underrated song; overshadowed by GDs album as well as the hype over Taeyang’s solo. I remember how much I bumped that song and still takes me back. It deserves more love. P.P.S: I hope it doesn’t rub any of you the wrong way, but it’s kinda ironic how the two members that sang High High... were the ones that got caught high 😭 and I still think the whole issue over it is stupid, let them smoke if they want to, better than doing other harder drugs. Ladies and gentlemen, this is how a legend is born and that is how they will continue to be one.

Bigbang's early era is gold. So nostalgic. Each of their songs is a masterpiece. Their evolution is refined by time that made them become legends. Oh, I noticed that Seungri's latest released songs were not included. Or maybe because he cameback early 2018? (I'm not sure tho)

I just want to say... the way Big Bang sings live and performs with so much swag and charisma cannot be replicated. People try to do it but they can’t because Big Bang is not just about looks... they are talented and have so much stage presence. They are strongest together.

To add on, I’ve been a VIP since 2008 so watching this is like a tour of memory lane. Really love their tracks like A Fool’s Tears and too much more to count. I was out of kpop for a couple of years, but always checked up on their new releases. I also still listen to their old songs a lot! My favorite is and always will be "Fool" and Big Bang will always occupy a special place in my heart! 😍

In 2015 only, they gave 4 years worth hit songs, and finally they are getting back to rule the Kpop again.

I just realize that its either with Bigbang or member solo, almost each year they always come out with new songs. Respect each of them. They deserve title of King of Kpop #vipuntilwhenever #letmeetagainwhenflowerbloom

Jiyong have said that they are attually not rest. After a group there is a solo comeback then a concert over concert again. 11 years of BIGBANG are full of work hard.

Its alternate. After a years of group performance, the next year would be each members solo activities and songs and then after that,if the songs for a group finish, they perform again as a group and a concert after.

It seems they changed concept 2010-2012-ish, from clean choreo to rocking the stage lol it was the best decision to make tho, especially for TOP xD also, I cringed so hard when I saw Dirty Cash xD I can never erase that MV from my memory xD

can't wait to see what will happen after all the members are done in military service.. maybe gd's already composing for their comeback 😱😱 exciting 😵😍

It's so disheartening to see if Bigbang falls down because of what happened to Seungri. I'm hoping they'd still continue as a group but right now it's a wishful thinking....

I believe they already have songs or album lined up even before joining the military. They usually do years before they released their album.

Bigbang is the only Korean group band that I like most of the songs which is super plenty. Other band I like only 1-5 song max. And Bigbang members have unique voice that can be easily distinguish, Waiting for their come back album

So,its safe to say g dragon the first that start colored hair trend

From the beginning they different from each others, their visuals n identities are easily recognized...i remember Top said to maintain ones longevity in music industry idols must be unique n have distinctive characters so they will stood out from the rest becoz many idols will come out every year....Bigbang already succeed in that part!👑👑👑👑👑

Wow! I can’t believe they started the lightsticks and the colored hair. Bigbang are trendsetters indeed. And no one can top their live performances. They surely are the true legends and kings of kpop. They should be the one up there.

Its 2020 and I still remember all the song from 2006. The other Kpop idols are cool & all but I'll forgot about them after a while. This is the only Kpop group that I really love because their song so damn catchy! Plus all the member are super talented and handsome ! How can anyone hates them??

I've known Kpop since 2011, I never interested to Bigbang, coz they looks like badboy. I love pretty boy like Suju. After that, I've watched many boy groups with beautiful visuals. And at the end I'll bored. But, when bigbang scandal appeared last year, many fans still stay with them, why? I had curiosity, I tried to listen their music. Hey, thats good. Then, I watched their live performance, hey, wow great. This is my first time, I really love music, not face or anything else. How amazing when I know, bigbang creates their music by themselves. Proud to Bigbang. I'll change my Idol if I find a group who's better than bigbang. Fact, noone can beat them
