I've been a VIP for 13 years and they made me a sobbing mess in just 2/3 minutes. I grew with them from a kid to an adult. They got me into kpop and I listened to them at my ups and downs. When and if they make a reunion song in the future you would be able to relate so do not worry that you can't relate. This song is for the old VIPs who have been there for years cause it brings back a lot for us.

Our Kings have been through a lot...this is their most emotional comeback after 4 years..VIP's crying while watching we are all happy because finally they are back..the legendary kings..They can give u that unexplainable feelings that only bigbang can give..whatever their endeavors in the future VIP's will be there for them forever..

Nost of the men i know (actors, KZreadr, artist, influencer) never shared anything kpop but BigBang is an exception. Bigbang can make a grown man cry. All these hidden VIPS are back to the surface because of this song. I'm quite surprised most of them are men. They shared how emotional they felt when they finally saw bigbang comeback again. Some of them even shared that they grow up listening to BigBang. That's why this song means a lot to them.

I have been listening to it all day. You must watch it more than once. First time check the visuals, a real nostalgic look. Video and colors are dope. And so much of the visuals are related to ghe past and moving forward. But second time you must just listen and read the lyrics. Wow, vocals hit you even more. The meaning behind the words makes me cry.

I think one word that can describe this is bittersweet. So it is natural if this is making you sad. For most long time VIPs, we've seen this group go through everything and grow with them too. The MV and lyrics is like a camera roll of memories we have with BIGBANG while at the same time leading us to a new chapter of their lives. This is like an Ode to our Youths. Each of them has a story to tell on their parts but for me, TOP's part is so emotional, symbolic, and just a cathartic release. The way he removed his mask after the lines and while singing "For Life" is like him showing the k-media platforms who censored his face with towers for so long that he is back and he doesnt need to hide his face anymore. For years, people has condemned him for the past issues and even used his good looks as a weapon to attack him to the point he needs to hide his face all the time. Anyone of the Big Bang members could have sang the whole song through, rap and all. Each is so much themselves and so dynamic separately, that when together they bring on their own vibe. No other groups except a few can do this.

I mean they could have comeback with a upbeat song instead of a farewell song, a legendary group like them having a first comeback in a looong while with a goodbye song will bound to give rise to talks about them leaving. Alot of 2nd gen syas they are part of their groups even after disbandment so idk. But of course, I wish bigbang will continue to come out with songs as a group still!!! But if they chose to move on, I’ll respect it and continue to support!

BUT my theory is that they are saying goodbye to their past in a sense that that era is over and a new is beginning as a 4 membe group instead of 5 members. Also now being in their 30s and fully adults and stuff. Just a new chapter in their lives. But even Suju made a comeback with all 9 members not long ago and it was also a slow song. Maybe it is just a trend to do slow songs with way tooo mich sentimentel feel. Honestly...if you are right and this is really a forever goodbye I rather had them stay on hiatus forever 😅 It is a bit weird to come back after 4 years just to say bye we are done. 🤷‍♀️ I guess those speculations will kill us... I hope they will give some kind of statement though.
