Agree with you on this! That’s why they are once called the Nation’s Boygroup coz GPs listen to them which is rare at that time. Idols or KPop at the beginning was considered music for teenagers and for their fandoms. KNetz or GPs look down on Idol Groups for such a long time that’s why Trot and other genre are more popular than Kpop… but well Bigbang happened and they help KPop to be mainstream and be recognized more by GPs in SK…. That’s why despite of their so called “scandals” so many are still waiting for their comeback… Well they are the Kings of KPop for a reason! 💛👑

Neither do I. But their music is so diverse, "pure", artistic, catchy/moody, relatable, that's why I listen to them. And the talent, the arrangement, the lyrics, the messaging is to real and so good, they are just on another level.

GDTOP is the first RAP line in KPOP Idol group. Also the trend of "rappers can sing" started from them. And yes, the trend of rapline having "thin and thick voices" also started by them. In short, most of the trends you see in today's KPOP are all started by BIGBANG. Even having colorful hair started by GD. They also started the "versatile" thing in KPOP group that's why BB got varied genre mixed in their songs. 😅😅😅

The MV was filmed in New York. They have a lot of MVs filmed in US , Blue was in New York too , Tonight was filmed în Vegas and I think Loser in LA. They worked with an international team and the band they go on tour with is all african americans . When BigBang debut YG had offices in a basement , now the company has 2 huge buildings they build from zero. BigBang has been for years responsabile for at least half of YG income so they have a lot of negociation power with the company.

Just a fun fact about Taeyang he was trained to be a rapper and it supposed to debut with GD as a rap duo, but insted they were put in the group with the other 3 members, now the oficial positions of Taeyang are main dancer and main vocalist.

GD and TOP were neighborhood friends as kids, they often rapped and danced together. Later when GD was already signed to YG, he contacted TOP (who was an underground rapper at the time) and asked TOP to audition for YG. Btw, GD has a song featuring pre-debut Jennie called Black Black, they performed it for Inkigayo while she was still a trainee. It must have been a big deal for any trainee to be able to perform with such a big idol like GD, they must have already known Jennie was gonna be a future queen

Now Gdragon is the main rapper, Taeyang is the main vocal and main dancer of the group and they have been best friends for over 20 years! Both of their solo work were massively successful! I loved your reaction. When people seek to meet GD, they fall in love, whether male or woman. He is a humble and very talented person. His swag is natural. But unfortunately, there are those who want to pull the BB down. They're not perfect and they've always said that, and that's exactly what made me love them.

That's Daesung making that high pitched sounds😂 on the background as adlibs. Love him! Check him out! He is BIGBANG's powerhouse vocalist - Anymore live from his solo Japan Dome Tour 2017.

To help you recognise them . TOP is the deep voice rapper, he only dance if he feels like or he has too, never shows skin. If you see a member barely moving on stage, is TOP 🤭. GDragon will probably have the most wild hair and fashion , he is the rapper with high voice . Taeyang is the dancer , the man loves to dance , if there is one member doing more moves than the choreo and is improvising , is Taeyang. He also likes to go around shirtless 😅. Anyone half naked on stage is probably Taeyang . Seungri and Daesung are both good dancers and vocalists . Basicly the best way to tell them apart is that Daesung had a hairstyle that covered his eyes , especialy during MADE album promotions.

@@dxwxt the reason for us kidding TOP as the main dancer coz whenever they do live, everyone is moving from here to there while TOP just remains standing looking so cool and when they dance to their song's choreo, TOP be having his own choreo. And that's live. By standard, that would be a mistake coz they should be synchronized. But he is TOP. He be doing what he wants on stage, no one can stop him. 😅😅😅 What's funny though, if TOP feels like dancing, he would dance and no one can stop him as well. How much control the label to Bigbang? None. YG basic is Hip hop and the most important is artist under YG is free to do their own thing. Even when G-Dragon and Taeyang still a young trainee, Their senior (First generation YG group like 1TYM and Jinusean) take these two young boy on stage to perform in YG family concert and that culture run to next generation. Bigbang and 2ne1 take YG third generation (Winner not yet debut and iKON still trainee) to perfrom on next YG family concert along with their senior too. Even GD take Jennie trainee on music show stage to perform black. Actually, in kpop industry... trainee usually must hide by the agency until they officially debut. But YG let the seniors take their trainee to collab if they think it suit the song and performance. -Most of YG artist can produce song and become producer and agency let them to explore their talent and genre, but still they need to compete with all YG executive producer who sent lots of songs too to founder of YG (Yang Hyunsuk) to get accepted. After compete with producer to get song accepted, they need to compete again to get schedule comeback... can they comeback this year, next year or another year. Jinusean (the first generation) need to wait almost 10 years or more cmiiw to have a comeback lol (well they busy with other thing), and Bigbang already 4 years not yet have a comeback haha (Only Bigbang know when they wanna comeback. YG can't even predict. That's why poor YG always be questioned by the fans while they themself dont know). About Blackpink... Teddy itself already said they have lots of music but they particular with what they want. actually bigbang started everything with freedom, be it from their song, fashion style, their dance. if you see that boy groups and girl groups in korea they are very much required to be perfect especially their physique, and dance throughout the song. while their bigbang is loved for their song, bigbang's stage performance never fails they just enjoy, and bring the atmosphere, playing in front of the camera. bigbang started a lot of trends especially in kpop music and fashion. because of bigbang success but with freestyle like tattoo you say, they smoke, love party (it’s not for bad things) cause you know YG had a lot of EDM, hip hop music. people sometimes see them bad, YG and their artists are having a lot of hard times because of the false accusations from the haters. but YG is just silent with all the slander until the truth will be revealed because they know what their artist wants is only music, making songs, their goal is to make good music for the fans and give freedom to the artist. sorry if my english is bad. I feel you for me YG let their artists have more freedom & be their self they help them stand on their own & be open they know the haters will always be there to drag them down although fans thinks YG were too strict not really cause all his artists respect him & he just have different way to teach them to be strong well I realized all of this when I watched all their survival shows & behind the scenes of YG artists docu....well it's effective tho YG artists are strong facing their scandals or problems cause compared to other idols they will not survive sadly some went died just because of haters...
