On today's Food Guide I dive into the Dallas scene of Venezuelan Cuisine for the first time. Big Yummy off Midway in Addison more than exceeded any expectation I had. Latin American staples such as Empanadas, Pastelitos and Pastalones were served in fresh pastries with toppngs and crust leaving me stunned literally. The Arepa wasn't what I expected, but would more than willing to try again. As for Cachapa's the sweet corn like pancake was the star of the show with perfectly cooked steak to compliment it.
