Thanks for watching! We just eliminated the VOES to keep our system as simple as possible. The Ultima ignition we use replaces your OEM ECM and pickup.

I’m installing this kit on my bike now, did you plug the vacuum line coming from the carb to the voes since you eliminated it? Or did you run the vacum line to somewhere else? Or just leave it open? Sry if this is a dumb question, thanks for this awesome video brother merry Christmas

I have an 87 evo and the starter does not have provisions for the push button/slam start. Would you recommend running a 3 position switch with exciter wire to the solenoid like your sportster kit?

Can u use this with a regular coil and ignition or do u have to use th e ultima ignition system

maybe a dumb question, but if this worked on a 1984 evo could it work on a 1984 shovel 1340 electric start? almost the same engine for the most part. not sure about the electronics though.

For the one on our bike we took the stock Softail motor mount and drilled out the hole meant for the horn. Another option would be to fab a whole new piece that would bolt on to the mount instead of drilling out that stock plate for the horn. We also couldn't find one sold in the configuration we needed. We'll likely make and sell this in the future but for now the best options are drilling or fabricating a new piece.

I know you have probably found this out already but I did my 2002 big dog pitbull in this exact fashion still running great got rid of all the extra trash like the control box that's trash big dog should have just kept it simple wouldn't have had so many wiring issues

You never touched on grounding to frame and how to ensure a solid ground. Most electrical issues i find on electrical problems are caused by weak grounds
