I've never been a fan of OBS Chevy's... my dad gave me a 92 6.5l .. ive spent 5 or so hours tinkering on it... i fell in love..

Not to be a smartass but that's a hot air intake. Thats just pulling air fromna hot engine compartment. The stock filter housing pulls from the fender which is cooler air that in the engine compartment. Gale Banks had a clip on KZread showing the lost horsepower of a "cold air intake" due to the decrease in air density because it's temperature was so high.

I can see where your coming from but the whole is still in the fender I noticed no difference in temps or performance from the stock box.
Can you link the parts that you added on your truck I have a stock 6.5

They don’t come with them factory and I don’t see the need for it been 10 plus years without a issue
How much boost does it make/regulated at?

It definitely is mine lol I built it from the frame up. I say “we” because of the help that was needed. I can’t lift a bed myself and such. Relax
