    The major reason why Fields went for a conditional 6th is all due to his contract and that you have to decide by May to pick up his 5th year option which would cost around 25 million or it’s a one year rental

    You wanna know what’s funny Jason’s exact way of thinking at 26:30 ish is how last year I ended up with Richardson as my 1.03, and Stroud as my 1.07. Draft pick. Everyone scared off from Stroud and it turned into what was going to be a longer rebuild into a massive turnaround where I now have those two as my starters, and 4 1st rounders in a 12 team money league.

    You must have missed when the dynasty show said that QBs were overrated in Superflex. They even took two WRs before Caleb Williams in their mock.

  • @VinegarAndSaltedFries

    @VinegarAndSaltedFries

    3 ай бұрын

    @@mano_lamancha4716 honestly they are only overrated if you miss because if you hit the entire situation of your team changes. And here is the thing if your Dynasty roster say has Tua,Baker, and Geno Smith and a couple speculative late rookie draft types right…you are good for now but a world does exist that Baker’s on a new OC again and his production might nose dive and a QB like Geno might not get it done and Al of a sudden might be out a job mid season. Then just think about what you’ll need to give up to get a starting QB. The hit rate on these guys from actual NFL is so low that it does make it worth taking some shots especially if you can identify values at the RB and WR position later in rookie drafts. Like I agree they are overrated to a point depending on how you draft your roster and the situation you are in. For my team it was an Orphan I adopted largely because it had Garrett Wilson and a two high picks. I was even offered Justin Jefferson and a 4th for G.Wilson, my 1.07 and my 2.10. I turned it down and was made fun of but I turned that 1.07 into Stroud and that 2.10 into Laporta. My starting QB’s before that when I took over the team was Kenny Pickett,Ryan Tannehill, and Skylar Thompson. Thankfully Traded away Pickett before the draft. I think any hard rule is dumb so I agree in the spirit of don’t just take a QB because it’s available with your 1st round pick but where I disagree is also you can do that. Moral of the story get better at identifying players and scouting. If you inform yourself of things that translate into success in the NFL and are able to see it in the players and have the time to grind some tape you’ll be so much better off. Also Stats can be fools gold so you can’t just base things off them and not actually watching. The more you put in the more you’ll take out. And while those first steps are hard teaching yourself what’s correct mechanics for positions the internet is full of resources (some bad) to better each and every one of us.

    Jason, you are the lead advocate of getting rid of the kicker position in fantasy; but you are trying to say quarterbacks scoring is broken, because it does not mirror the nfl. This is an arbitrary stance. Kickers are easier to predict than defenses. Kicker scoring can be adjusted two better fit the nfl. Kicking is absolutely a part of the NFL, and should remain in fantasy. Love the show as always!

The Titans strategy this off-season has clearly been about finding out if Will Levis is the guy. That is going to involve throwing the ball at a much higher rate. They quietly have a solid group of offensive playmakers that compliment each other well. They signed the top center on the market and will likely draft an LT at 7. Not to mention they have completely neglected the defensive side of the ball. They could low key be a fantasy goldmine.
