Heard big Tom first in Smyths ballroom in Carnlough County Antrim1968 ...l just listened to his tremendous singing and really enjoyed his backing band the MAINLINERS...got speaking to him at the end of the show and I have been a fan of big Tom ever since...no one else like him in this country...Rip Tom
