it is rare that a singer can perform even better live than in the studio. She is true talent, and her performance is so beautiful. It brought me a few tears as well because I love this song and hearing it in this way was astonishing.

The amount of emotion shown on this is breathtaking

This song is amazing on so many levels. I have a hard time listening to it without crying. This woman sacrificing herself for the good of her former lover is just devastating. Its a perfect song. Just beautiful on every point. I can feel her heart being ripped out of her as she sacrifices herself for this man whose life she does not want to destroy. This is not your typical love song.

Yea, I absolutely down right dirty cry every time I hear it, I was going through the breakup of the longest relationship of my life when I found this song, and it just takes me back every time, It's all encompassing, and perfect. You can feel it almost brings her to the same place when she wrote it as she performs it.

There's a touch of Jeff Buckley in Big Thief. Amazing song!

I came across big thief from the movie The Broken heart Gallery, in that movie they played the song "masterpiece " the solo version and from then I started researching about their others songs as well and after doing some searching I came across this song, from then onwards it has become my favorite
