Tis also arguable that not only born, but conceived within this nation's borders has full US Citizen rights at that- for the only real differences therein are age, and thus physical development, but the same person begins his life at conception/fertilization, his existence doesn't begin at birth, that's only one stage in his physical development.

Lincoln also actually fully intended to end slavery, for he once witnessed a slave-auction and he said that he'd strike that institution a mighty blow when he really perceived how truly disgusting it really was.

Simply put, the proper terminology is "These United States make up one Nation Under God, Indivisible; with Liberty and Justice for All"; for the government derives its ability to govern solely from the consent of the governed, but that refers to individual citizens- the states have already signed over their "nation-level rights" to the central Capital when they ratified the US Constitution.

One thing that comes up in the speaker's wording is a tendency towards feminism that ought to be corrected; it is right and good to refer to human beings by the term "men", as the masculine is the proper English grammar gender if in any doubt or even if you're referring to large numbers of unnamed human beings. It is also the formal means of speaking the English language.

And the Federal Government increased in power too much, far too much, even well after the 1970s- I know that myself, I was born in that particular decade; and what's been happening is an increasing disaster.
