I've been looking at the Sport 460 for a while. One thing I've been wondering, the front seat pad, does it ever fly off ? Seems like it just sits there. I'd want to put velcro on it to secure it better. Looks like a fun little boat.

Hi , I have the Garmin uhd 75sv installed by the dealer where I purchased the boat (Neptune marine ) The boat has a bracket at the back for the transducer .

what's the top speed just with 1 person on board?

How seaworthy are these RIBs? I was thinking about a 420 but it looks in your video they might slam around more than I was hoping?

They are seaworthy. Stable and most of the times dry ride.

RIBs are stronger than they look. The coast guard in North America use them frequently to patrol the beaches. I've seen them get hit by pretty bad waves and they upright themselves without much effort. Still, be careful to not competely roll over. Those things weigh several tons, not 120 kilos!

I wonder what HP engine you have and what’s it’s top speed. I’m looking at buying China’s answer to the highfield SP 390. I’m thinking it could take a 70hp Yamaha because it’s lighter than all of the 50hp models. I’m sure the weight is not an issue. Do you think your 390 could handle the power of the 70hp Yamaha ?

That would be pushing it for this size boat. I would feel more comfortable with no more than 60hp. If you want a 90hp you can step up to the Sport 460 model.

Depends where you are. He's got the Tohatsu engine since he's in Australia i'm guessing. So he's probably putting out 50hp max for that size boat. In the U.S. i think it's a 60hp. The sport 460 the larger variant of this boat has the bigger engine.
