RayaWasHere If you get the chance keep going north up 101! The town of Mendocino is a great little artsy town on the coast, then keep going north and you'll get to Arcata, ultimate hippieville, and where I graduated from college. You'll be blessed if you get to explore up that way, it's all gorgeous, the redwood groves are all along the way. Have fun!

Drone shots of Pigeon Point Lighthouse with dark clouds: EPIC! Cutting from drone to car on bridge to driving car...ingenious! Love the different POV angles you got from the jeep....and the time lapse, cool! The shots THRU the wine glasses are really fun and, hey, that clip at 3:17 of the waterfall is played backwards, right? (The surf washing up/down the beach as the waterfalls up is eye-catching!) Horse-back riding out to the beach with the edge of that fog bank in the background is spectacular....and the drone shots of the beach near the end have really raised the bar on your video content. I loved the commentary/history about Big Sur also....only problem: How are you guys ever going to "top" this video, shot along the killer coast of California? You may have raised the bar too high!

I've been there, this place is amazing, the whole trip from San Francisco back to L.A. is pretty much a spiritual experience. Unfortunately, when I was there, the waterfall was off limits, we could only see it from the trail but the beach was closed, I've got great pics anyway. Great video!

Generally one would drive there or thumb it... Find a cabin to rent and wait tables for a year.

Epic drone shots guys. Which one did you end up using?

Going to Cali during thanksgiving to show it to my parents for the first time. I love this part of the state. HOWEVER, I'm afraid I made a bad decision in choosing end of November for the trip. Should I be worried about the weather/lack of greenery?

Right on, that's not far from where I'm from, just north a little further in Mendocino County. Have you checked out the Lost Coast yet? It's similar terrain as Big Sur but more remote, no road along the coast so you have to hike it, seriously worth checking out. And yeah great drone shots!

Katya Orlovie For sure! That's why we dig the Bota Box Minis, because they're super packable and are about 2/3 a bottle of wine each... plus they come in eco-friendly packaging, so better than dealing with a bunch of bottles and cans in pristine forest.
