Great times out in the Kaweka Ranges with a cool crew consisting of Caroline O'Neill, Christopher Martin, John Melhuish and Alastair Shelton.
Hiked up to Kiwi Saddle on night of Friday 21 April with a bit more gear than required, then we lightened up in the morning and did a 9 hour loop to Kaweka J, Back Ridge Hut, Kiwi Mouth Hut and back to Kiwi Saddle.
We then loaded back up with gear and kept going back to the road end via Kuripapango.
