    Croakers, as well as mojarra, are my go to live baits. They just get pummeled! I heard somewhere snook smash croakers because croakers eat snook eggs, so kind of a love/hate/tasty relationship

    had a dolphin come up to the boat one day.. and go into an entire routine of a seaword/maraineland act.. tail walking..flips..talking.. for like 10 mins wanting the fish I caught. Was definitely a captured dolphin released back to the wild.

  • @roon1355

    i know your not asking me but from my experience croaker probably get a little bit more bites but they are way more fragile and they die if you keep skipping em under docks and also they die if a snook pops at them and dont commit. whereas mullet can be whipped around all day and can get popped at and will take it so I prefer mullet.

  • @fishingmilesaway

    @fishingmilesaway

    @@roon1355 I really appreciate the feedback. I'm on the West Coast and over here it is all about whitebait and greenbacks but i think mullet and croakers seem to catch larger fish which is definitely what I would prefer to target. Croakers are a little less prevalent over here so I think I'm left only with mullet. Love watching videos fishing for big snook with mullet. I'm learning a lot in theory now I just need to put it in to practice.
