  • @zachrichardson5581

    @zachrichardson5581

    Жыл бұрын

    7 years is fucking ridiculous! We have to make it easier and more efficient for immigrants to assimilate and legally integrate. I wish there was more focus on improving the system of legal immigration. It's a fucking shame that we as a country are so well off with resources and wealth yet we can't uphold/improve the foundational point of this country. To be an accessible safe haven for people who want a better life for whatever reason.

  • @zachrichardson5581

    @zachrichardson5581

    Жыл бұрын

    @Danny T. First of all I didn't say it's oppressive I said silly, you're changing words. Stop that shit Secondly I didn't say let everyone in I said improve the efficiency and quality of the legal immigration process. Why are you flipping that into me saying I want it to be a free for all type deal? You're being disingenuous. Third yes it is our responsibility as a country to take in the tired and the poor. We literally have a statue as a beacon for people to aim for and seek salvation/safety/freedom of opportunity etc. How can we label ourselves as a destination for everyone who wants a chance at a better life and then make it extremely difficult to obtain that chance?

  • @zachrichardson5581

    @zachrichardson5581

    Жыл бұрын

    @Danny T. Plus we can do both correct? I mean we're the greatest country in the world right so naturally we can conquer both tasks simultaneously. We can solve the "problems in our back yard" and make the LEGAL (because you seem to think I'm advocating for some free for all Mad Max type shit and I'm not) immigration more efficient for those people trying to honestly become part of our country.

  • @zachrichardson5581

    @zachrichardson5581

    Жыл бұрын

    @Danny T. See you're thinking with such an extreme mindset. I'm saying 7 years for the process to get done is fucking comical. Wouldn't you agree or do you think that's reasonable? How in the world do we, the richest and best country, not have the resources anc ability to improve this system? There is a sweet spot we should aim for with making the immigration process efficient but not a free for all. You keep implying it's one way or another. Either it's how it is currently (ridiculously inefficient) or it's open season. Nah man common fucking sense and logic is somewhere in the middle.

  • @zachrichardson5581

    @zachrichardson5581

    Жыл бұрын

    @Danny T. I'm not bashing America. Why is it so difficult for us (some Americans) to admit our country has faults? You take any scrutiny or criticism as complete disrespect and blasphemy it's cringy. Pride and patriotism gets scary when it's at that degree. This particular comment is anecdotal yes and there are other situations that are anecdotal as well. That does not discredit them. This type of shit happens. Fairly frequently from the amount of anecdotal stories I've heard over the years. If the typical time it takes is 1 to 2 years that's much better than 7 obviously but still pretty inefficient when knowing how powerful and resourceful we are as a country. A human seeking a better life should be treated with the urgency it deserves. Your general extreme viewpoint is weird man. You're mindset is that more/better legal immigration is a bad thing? That's illogical. If the process works correctly (which is what I'm advocating for) wouldn't that lead to LESS bad people? If we put more resources into it so it's more thorough and efficient that's a good thing. I don't understand how we can't agree with that?

    I wouldn't ever call her names or anything, that's awful regardless of whether we agree with her or not. I do like her, but sometimes she can be intentionally inflammatory. For example, in this video when the girl said illegal immigrants were terrorists, Kaitlin knows that she meant that's what she thinks we think. She didn't need to accuse her of thinking that herself, it just isn't very productive to the conversation. That being said, I think she's calmed down a little since I watched her years ago. And, I've also changed myself and moved more right/libertarian, too. I actually just resubscribed to her yesterday.

Horkheimer was one of the leading 'juice' marxist of the Frankfurt school, which pioneered cultural marxism. "When we get ready to take the United States, we will not take it under the label of communism; we will not take it under the label of socialism. These labels are unpleasant to the American people and have been speared too much. We will take the United States under labels we have made lovable; we will take it under liberalism, we will take it under progressivism, under democracy. But take it we will." Alexander Trachtenberg, National Convention of Communist parties 1944. You think its by accident? Hitler tried to warn us about this shit and who is at the helm. As long as people refuse to see the central cause/true enemy, you will never fix anything. "Gentlemen, I've come to the inexcusable conclusion that we have fought on the wrong side. This entire war we should have fought with the fascists against the communist, not the other way around. It's an easy trap that folks can get into where they view something as "so obvious" that to question it seems ridiculous. Like, if I was to say, "how do we really know that we need to breathe air?" - most everyone would be so taken aback by that question because it should be so obvious that nobody should question it. What happens now in politics is that both sides often come to some conclusions like that which to them, are "so obvious" that if you ask for proof, then YOU are the idiot. That's how these students act when you say something like, "how is Trump racist?" - in their mind it's so obvious that it doesn't even warrant a serious conversation, BUT - things that are that obvious SHOULD therefore be the EASIEST things to define or explain. "How do we really know we need to breathe air?" - because if you go longer than just a few minutes without air you die and many people and animals have drown or suffocated so this has been proven plenty of times. Anything truly obvious like that should be really easy to explain, and if it's not, then perhaps it's not as obvious as one may think. Cheers.

    @@joymorrill574you are confusing medicare and medicaid. Medicare and social security are sometimes referred to as entitlements but that is not the case as working people pay into these programs to hopefully collect later similar to an insurance policy. Medicare is for elderly and people that qualify for federal disability. Medicare pays 80% of health costs and one can buy a supplement to pay the other 20% or pay it on their own. Many people cannot afford the 20% if there is a catastrophic event so that is an issue but hospitals often have grants to help with these expenses. Medicaid is different as it is state funded program for poor people. This program is free or extremely inexpensive and is available to anyone whether they have worked or not. It covers most medical expenses close to 100%. It should be obvious why people might hesitate to go to work full time and loose their medicaid, especially when they have children.

A MAPD may help. But it’s still a rip off. It scares me to think that we pay so much per paycheck and might not be able to have MCR by the time we reach retirement age. I’m only 44. It was disappointing to me that her hijab doesn't prevent her for keeping good manner, Islam always teaches us to respect others and use kind words even though they are different in faiths and culteres, I think all religions value and believe in treating others with respect. This is a proof that media propagandas have taken religions values from their believers' minds. They can claim I'm a muslim or I am a christian but they never really apply what their religions have taught when their minds have been covered by lies and hatreds, then there came the F words. Those girls' attitudes might come from their families too. And so disappointing to see how families have raised young generations right now: just look at them, when you don't agree with someone, it doesn't mean you could say F word toward them publicly. Again, that girl in hijab was not representing Islam values with her hijab, her hijab was just her skin, so disappointing... 😔

    This one is definitely less productive than some other interviews from Kaitlin. She shouldn’t have gotten quite so snarky and mean/hostile. Acting that way closes people’s ears very quickly. The one Van pointed out to be actually thinking about what was being said likely stopped doing so after the snark got worse.

    @@Silverlined_69 You’re ignoring the one both Van and I were referring to on the right side of the screen who seemed to be actually considering the other side to some extent. Even the one who was doing most of the talking conceded that what they did was rude and unreasonable toward the end. There could have been a good chance of good dialogue at that point if Kaitlin had thanked the gal for her apology and tried going from there, but instead she pushed them further away. There’s no reason to increase the divide in such a discussion with hostility. It only ruins any slight chance that there may be something productive to come out of the conversation.

Those young ladies may have been more willing to listen after she had made her point if she had backed off a little on her aggressive attitude (at least, I think it was). I love Kaitlin. I also understand why Kaitlin is so aggressive sometimes because she's been attacked so much from people on the Left for merely expressing her opinion.

    It has been an unfortunate aspect of our culture for a few decades now, where most Americans have very strong emotional opinions about subjects they know absolutely nothing about. Today the problem is that the powers that be have turned that ignorance onto each other

    Brit over here, before anyone tries to defend free health care, have a read: I got taken off the "NHS list" for describing my pain as "F******g horrendous". Yes, I'm not even kidding, I wish I was, the nurse asked me how much pain I was in and that's how I responded, she gave me mild painkillers, sent me home then the next day I received a letter saying that I am no longer entitled to NHS treatment due to "abusive and volatile behaviour". I'm not even going to appeal because to be honest I never really trust public health care (I'm from South Africa). So now I'm paying taxes for everyone else health and private for my own.

    Its not possible to be removed from the "NHS list." An individual doctor or nurse can decline to treat a patient, (abuse is now grounds for refusal, before it was only aggression or violence,) or a GP practice for example. You can appeal, (which you chose not to do, your choice,) or register with another GP/attend another hospital. Emergency treatment however must ALWAYS be given regardless.

    Interestingly enough, the tone of the main speaker was changing. The fact that she realized what they did was ignorant and stupid means she is pliable. With the right person talking to her she could actually see the truth of life and the way the government and society works. I think Kaitlyn could have changed the oldest mind if she had went in a different direction because the tone and answers of the oldest was evident that her beliefs were being affected. I’d like to see where her mindset is 3-5 years from this video.

    I can see how much this really bothered you. Hey, it really bothers the hell out of me too. I wish these kids could be a better version of themselves, and maybe just maybe as they grow older, they might even get a bit wiser to what’s really going on around them and the laws being passed right under their noses that are affecting them too. Hey, my glass is always half full. And yes, it is kinda hard imagining them mature the right way, but I gotta have hope. Be well good people, and I hope you all have a wonderful week. And don’t forget to call one of your family members you haven’t talked to in a while or one of your friends or Elders. I know we all get a bit busy in our lives, and I’m guilty of it too, but ten or twenty minutes can make a hell of a difference for the caller and receiver. Much love.

    Nah, we’re beyond changing minds at this point. Tolerance paved the way to hell with Gen Z. They can’t discern between fact and fiction, good and evil, right or wrong. They’re just emotional, blithering idiots. They’ll either deduce facts from the broader scope or they’ll remain willfully ignorant. Conservatives and problems are usually made by their ages. We declared our dependence over smaller matters. The leftist ideology is problematic. It leads to decadence wherever and whenever it is allowed to thrive.
