Let me just say: if this was anime instead of emoji, I believe internet people would like it more. It goes to show that Japanese-elitist-impressionism is a very real thing on opinionation, and this is a cool animated skit regardless of art style.

@@joshuasullivan1936 It’s an easily-readable artstyle, for sure. It’s not terribly difficult to animate, and it’s in these days. For these reasons, it’s not abnormal for a company to make a movie in an emoji-like artstyle, but for some reason it comes off wrong...
