Big Sister: Unboxing a 1/18 Porsche 911 (992) GT3 RS by Minichamps
Considering that I began the month unboxing the 1/64 Porsche 911 GT3 RS by Minichamps, it’s fitting that I close out January unboxing its 1/18 counterpart, and oh, what a model it is!
To those who are curious, yes, the rear wing is adjustable but it requires delicate handling and I’m not really a big fan of this feature.
Also, erratum: prior to this it had actually been FIVE years, not four, since I last bought a 1/18 die-cast model with which I was completely happy. In other words, I’ve been waiting a long time for this model!
P.S. I just learned today that the mysterious particles on my desk came from the rubber handle of my screwdriver, which has been shedding them faster than a cat in a heat wave.

It was debris from the styrofoam case. Fear not; I wiped it off. ;)
