Your wheel is fearfully and wonderfully made... much like a GE mobile imager. That's the amusement you want to set up and tear down. Less work = more money.

I want to take this time to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. I am really impressed with your attention to detail and professionalism you demonstrate on your assembling of your rides and how much care you give your equipment. Also your attention to detail for the riders and their safety. I can't imagine the various people that you come across at the events. It must be a real joy to be able to work as a family with your business. Thank you for all you do. Sam

I love Ferris wheels. Back in the late ‘60s, I worked part-time at Joyland Park in Wichita. I was usually the relief operator since I knew all the rides, but my favorite was their big 16 seat Eli wheel. That big wheel, being cable drive, was finicky about being balanced. It takes a good eye and a gentle touch to do it right. I still love the older rides

Heads up watch your head operating these wheels. The elephant ear passes just a foot from you. Also, if unbalanced it will back spin towards the rear of the trailer. Also Most inspectors don't catch that light modifications. Love the side mounted spoke lights.

I like your videos brings back memories I used to work for a carnival years ago and I worked on a crew that had a ride called the Himalaya and it took us about 6 or more hours hours to get it setup I had enjoyed it but we didn't always put up the scenery each time except the day we were going to have an inspection but the only thing was that the owners didn't want to make the time to repair the brakes on the thing so that we had to load it up the passengers so that the thing wouldn't roll around when one of the crew was underneath the ride to check things out before each ride during the day they were open to the public to go on the ride

The tower cables carry load when the wheel is unbalanced. They are used to true the whee. The outriggers can also assist in drive cable a linement. By pushing the wheel to one side or the other.

You know that you can work some for KMG or some other type of ride manufacturer. You would be very good at teaching how to set up rides when they are delivered.

Nicely done. 14yrs running Garbrick wheels for Taylor and son's. Why didn't you not use the A brace and set it up the other way. Also you didn't show twisting the locking the lock pins on the hub. To lock the pivot spokes. Or removing the cradle that holds the spokes in travel.

I prefer Eli with the cable dereck on the axle and the rim irons are hinged between the spokes.. also Eli the elephant ears stay on the spokes , they fold up.. do you have problems with the cable slipping on such a small bull gear?
