The way you lined up your back cut was so smooth. I gotta learn that. You did it so easy and just walked the saw back. I’m actually impressed. Also thank you for showing it’s cool to wear helmets. I see way to many trees being felled with no protection at all like this isn’t extremely dangerous. Thanks for the video. Great work man.

Well, since you brought it up. I’ll have to make a video on why I wear the helmet style I do. Yes, helmets are very important. And is a part of your PPE that should never be taken for granted.

I bored it out looking for good wood. And went Oh Crap! 3 bores and all stinky wood. You can see it wanting to break off straight at the propane tank when she let go.

@@georgewilliamssr5230 That’s exactly what I said seeing the bar just sank right in on those first bore cuts. I was waiting for a snap and a bit of a jump. We’ve had a few of those oaks do that and I could feel it coming through the ground when I was sitting in an 8,000lb tractor.

That is not the way to cut the tree to fall in the right direction. You cut flat on the bottom cut and angle the top cut too the bottom cut.

Yes, that is not the way an inexperienced person would fell a tree. Please don’t do it unless you receive expert training. What I do is for professionals only.
