I paid $129.99 For this 2023 Prizm Football Retail Box... Was it worth it?! I definitely think I got lucky with a HUGE rookie green ice pull! Overall, I think these boxes are a pretty fun rip considering how many cards you get, and also the chances to hit some BIG rookie card parallels! They are very dependent on the green ice parallels as well as the (3) black & white checker and silver prizms! These 2023 Prizm Football retail boxes have 24 packs per box, and 4 cards per pack for a total of 96 football cards! Within those 96 prizm football cards, you are supposed to get 3 black/white checkerboard parallels, 2 silver parallels and a green ice parallel! If you hit some big name rookies, you definitely can do well with these boxes, but it also could go south if the lesser known rookies are pulled. I found two boxes of these last week. One full and one close to full. Gonna open them when I get home. A checkerboard Stroud would be great 😎
My wife was at Target last week right after the restock. She picked up 2 of these boxes for me for $96 each. Can't go wrong with this product imo! The biggest hits we got are a Brock Purdy checkerboard and a Sean Clifford checkerboard. Also, CJ Stroud and Bryce Young green ice Prizmatics. A Bijan Silver and Bijan Green Ice Portals. Congrats on the Levis, that's sweet!

Very nice green ice pulls. I happened to catch a restock at my local target 2 weeks ago and I snagged 2 of these boxes but the packs were different than yours. Your packs are more foil but the ones I got are more plastic. The packs were all stuck together just like the boxes Sky-B gets.
Pretty solid overall. I have some to open so hopefully hit some nice checkerboards and green ice.

Just curious if you think Donruss cards are worth grading? Even press proofs. I understand they are harder to grade since they are paper stock. But more wondering if they hold value like other cards.

I know you’re not asking me but I think the top QB’s are worth it but that’s it. So Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Purdy, Stroud. Fringe guys would be Herbert, Lawrence, Tua, Love, but you gotta make sure those are 10’s! I sent a few in during this last PSA $14.99 per modern card special.

For a buck thirty I would expect an auto or at least a mem card….I don’t see the value at that price point when you’re pretty much praying for a big name. An auto at least add some value.
