So proud I have only reggae left beside me when everyone leaves me. ❤

I am from Guyana and in the 70 as a child we did not have radio or stereos, but neighbors did and the played these classics. Those are my first memory of many on this list. When I came to America early 80’s the night clubs played them regularly. My early romances are associated with these heart throbbing “ LOVERS ROCK” as they used to be called. Now I am married and 30 years later I sit with my wife listening but all my thoughts and memories are of the earliest times I heard them. Plenty of girlfriends also come into the picture….I will always treasure them

I remember listening to my dad play these songs in Guyana and used to be so annoyed but now I'm in my 40's and find myself listening to these songs and my 12 year actually enjoys it. Best music ever ❤❤❤
