That's what I love about German spgs is that most are low profile and easier to conceal or can get hull down to use that good upper frontal armor. This and the Jagdpanther are amazing

@@howiethehowitzer7398 It's been said that if Germany had stuck to TD's late in the war instead of trying to make hvy tanks the war would have ended far later than it did. The TD's were far less complicated, used less steel, were easier to make and far better suited for a defensive war.

@@douglascampbell9809 True, but the war wouldn't have ended much earlier. The impact of German armour is massively overstated and was effectively a moot cause after Kursk due to widespread fuel shortages. Even the Heer had to demotorise in a period where other armies were moving toward complete motorisation. The Germans would have caused more casualties with more tanks, but the immense logistic misbalance forced the war to a close. You could bring another counterfactual argument in, that if the Germans had adopted a wider track earlier in the war then German armour would have been far more effective during the rush of Barbarossa.

Yes its such a good TD but u really like the Nashorn too with its Pak 8,8cm its pen everything at 5.3

Nice game! I agree dude, it is a great vehicle! German TD's are why I even found this game as I was researching my favorite tank, the Ferdinand Elefant, and found a Jingles video doing a WOT video on it. I ground straight to it and did terrible! I was gaming under 20 FPS and had no idea about anything really. lol War Thunder planes soon after and then I tried to get into GF but I just couldn't. Here we are like 8 years later and I Just unlocked the Panther A, so it won't be long now. Already had tons of great games in this flatpanzer, which is just a brilliant German TD, love all of them historically, and have had a lot of fun in War Thunder with them, as I continue to grow as a player. Spading them one by one, and the Flatpanzer I have tier 3 and up modules to unlock and already have a 12 deaths 11 kills. Still have tons of positional knowledge to gain but getting it!

The flatpqnzer is one of my favourite vehicles. My go to jumbo killer.

This is perfect example of ultimate freaking overpowered tank that gaijin added in the game, if you don't show sides and your opponent hasn't got 90min you're nearly invincible and with the gun that this vehicle have you're monster i call this unbalanced tank nice video

Yeah this is the vehicle that my Jumbos least liked fighting. That was when Jumbos were 5.0. My best hope (apart from flanking) was to hit its gun, transmission or maybe tracks.

Honestly it's about the armor on this thing and not pen but it's nice to have it. Anyways, great video odd, I'm liking the frame rate and focus on anti Cas-Cas. Lineup showcase is just so much better

the panzer IV/70(V) for me is the best tank for frontal fights, it can bounce jumbos, and to be sure if shots do pen, I only carry 12 rounds because they place it on the lower rack, not beside the heads of the crew. Easy 5 kills in urban environments, but repair cost is 4,000 sl.

One thing i like about the Panzer IV/70(V) is that Russian 85mm APHE will pen the transmission but US 76mm APCBC, which in theory performs better at angle than standard AP may or may not pen it

Honestly I think this should be a 5.7 even. USA 90mm cant pen this reliably and the 17pounder can kinda pen this at medium range

1st game I played with this thing I got a double ace, and I am by no means a good player so this tank is worth picking up.

The jagdpanzer IV/70 V is a pain in the ass when im grinding the US tanks, on maginot line one of these killed my m26 cause he was on a hill and i couldnt pen him anywhere

This is proably the best German tank destroyer in game. Very small profile, good front armor, laser gun.

That jump in technology is pretty huge. It would be splendid if War Thunder compressed BR and also made battle modes for vehicles by era.
