2:25 The mastery was originally divine purpose, but they reworked it early on in cata to be a baked in like 15% or something into a talent - the mastery became the holy damage increase.

Was it holy damage increase? I forget, for a while there it was secondary strike damage but I can’t remember if it was MoP/ WoD when they made the change. Ret mastery changed so many times until legion and the. It has just remained the same boring version since haha

What's the addon that showed their CDs to the right of their nameplate? I use omni bar but it would be cool to set it the way you have it.

When I play my Paladin in arenas or RGBs I go into “tunnel vision mode” how does one not get that? Spam and pray is what I’ve been doing most.

Start focusing on enemy defensive CDs and swapping off when you see those.

are we not running any sets this season??

0, 2set, 4 set all viable. Can run whichever you prefer but imo 2 set is best set up. Either helm and gloves or gloves and chest or chest and pants depending on your stat preference. I most typically run 2 set on chest and gloves.

I still can't stand Ret in BGs. I guess it's probably good if you have a pocket healer, but randoms are a horrible experience.

Retail feels so clicky. i feel like the older expansions were more about timing your abilities. retail just feels like click your abilities as fast as you can kinda has that ARPG feel not mmo. 😅

After playing cataclysm I definitely makes you appreciate the pace. Damage in cata feels high but button presses feel less spammy. Retail feels super spammy and sometimes damage doesn’t feel that high at all haha

I have a really fried consecration build that i think might be good for douple dps 2s, i haven't tried it myself but i bet it'd be more fun to watch someone who's actually good at the game try to make it work. the basic idea is that you get all the spells that auto-generate consecrations and all the spells that give consecration benefits, and then stack haste so you get more consecration tiks and drops. here's the build...it's probably really bad because ret pally healing is so bad but i miss our offhealing and think it could be a decent build if you like offhealing. maybe. lol. I’ll try and make a meme consecrate build. I’ve recorded a number of vids before trying to make one work but it never pans out well 😂 usually maxes about 5% of my overall, sacrificing a lot of single target.

@@LvladenPvP oh yeah, the damage from consecration itself is pretty bad. the build focuses more on the utility you get from it, like snare removal, slow, passing healing, and increased healing from wog and flash of light. basically trying to find a workaround to make ret offhealing present again. but it's probably not enough to make it viable

@@MarijuanaFireFighter These talents were taken from SL prot conduits, honestly for prot they were decently strong and I have not tried them all on Ret. That being said its really hard to take them.

@@LvladenPvP yeah it's probably really bad but it could be a sleeer meme. stack haste and then heal a bunch to make up for not hitting as hard. that's why i think it might work for double dps 2s. i wish you could go protribution in DF, but you need a 2h for blades of justice.
