That gold ring is medieval, the method of keeping the stone in gives it away.. Real Treasure! Well done great find.

My guess is based on the craftsmanship of the ring, 17th century or earlier and the gem is probably an emerald in its natural form. What an amazing find! Thank you for picking up the glass and other trash.

Being as old as it obviously is, that green stone could easily be a natural emerald...SUPER rare in modern times. I would take it to a reputable jeweler to be sure. This one is worth investigating fully.

I agree....looks to be atleast 18kt or better as far as gold content and suspiciously like a natural emerald. I think that is the treasure for the YEAR!!!

Your children are a joy to watch. They seem so free.

Amazing finds. In the late 1960's and early 1970's I was diving off the coast of Okinawa and we were picking up large Lobsters when I found a small bar of 24 carat gold which at the time wasn't worth much for the actual Gold as it would be now but it was found out to be from some dynasty from Japan's past. I really should not have sold it but since I was in the Military at the time I sold it for what some Museum from Japan offered for it.

Your children are your greatest treasures! They are beautiful little angels and you are a blessed man.

Great stuff, Michael, I envy you. Love your collecting the trash as well. Well done, keep it up, guy!

Michael, you missed a ring. Check this video at 5:17:19 to 5:24:10. You took the coin and waved away the ring. The ring is under the large white shell next to the coin. You expose it when you clear the sand from around the coin.

Don't know about ring being Emerald....seems emeralds were more vivid green years ago. 🤔🤗

Beautiful ring. I'm going to guess fluorite, adventurine, chrysoprase, or chalcedony. It could even be a green tourmaline. There are all kinds of green precious and semi precious stones. Love your videos. Do you save all those keys? You can make wind chimes that sound so musical out of them. Take care and be well.

The lead cross looked really old ,if you notice the hole looks as though it has been made by a very old square hand made nail ,punched through and not drilled, I have seen similar items on a series called Oak Island .

The Gemstone could also be a Natural Aquamarine they come in blues and greens.

Thanks Maggie👍 On the rare occasion I have the pleasure of bumping into a shark 🦈❤️ To be honest they probably swim past me more than I even notice, they’ll take a look at me and cruise on by about there day, I’m a visitor to the ocean whatever happens to me is ALWAYS 100% my fault, I understand the risks and it’s never the wildlife’s fault👍👍 see you on the next hunt💍👍

The lead piece maybe a fancy boat adornment. I know lead was used quite a bit for patching hulls. The ring VERY COOL ! High karat jade stone maybe. Looks Saxon, family heirloom, perhaps lost by an explorer centuries ago ! Sound good ? Great job as always. PROUD Patron Jason K.

Thanks Mate👍 Yeah Sydney is in more strict lockdown I can only travel within 5kms lucky I have plenty of dive sites within my travel zone👍👍 other people are not so lucky and I really feel for them❤️ The worlds a crazy place at the moment it’s reason why I just spent my KZread savings on giving back to our viewers, we send our patrons a metal detector every month with other rewards🎁🎁 as having a hobby is more important than ever, a lot of us are going a little crazy in this lockdown and we want to help as many people as possible especially during these depressing times. if the ring is translucent or clear, it could be an emerald as one person has already said. if its NOT translucent, it could be either malachite(sp?), turquoise, or jade. jade has a tiny bit of translucence. but is milky looking in the green. a darker green is a little more yellowish, and one w/ white also running through it might be worth more $. not sure.
